This is again, from a drive through the back roads of the Dandenong ranges in Victoria. I was just driving around and stopping to photograph things that caught me eye (I wound up lost too). This is a plot of land behind a farmhouse near Seville.

This was taken near Wandin East at the back of the Dandenong Ranges. I was driving around through the mist and got lost. As i was coming around a bend I looked out and saw this.

Eilean Doan Castle one of the Iconic Scotish Castles was just a magic place to visit and photograph. I spent close to 6 hours taking in the surrounds, the atmosphere and the serenity and of course the odd photo or two. Here is one of my favourites, I really like the balance of light and the reflections. I hope you like it too.

I hope I haven’t worn out my welcome but it was one of the most photogenic locations we visited to here is another one.

Gouache, Watercolour, Collage on grey St Armand Linen….the original of this painting is exactly as shown here….. We’re planting this coming long weekend, so the pots will be taken out of their winter nest of burlap, and brought into the warmth of the spring sunshine…. I saw an ad for terracotta pots many years ago, and I guess it stayed in my memory…. when I went to get my own pots out for planting, I got the idea for the shed and light coming through the window….that, plus the memory of the pile of pots were too hard to resist…..I had to do a painting… May and June. Soft syllables, gentle names for the two best months / in the garden year: cool, misty mornings gently burned away with a / warming spring sun, followed by breezy afternoons and chilly nights. / The discussion of philosophy is over; it’s time for work to begin…..Peter Loewer

Carew castle Pembrokshire South Wales is a fantastic location, I walked around this castle a lot last week as we were staying close by. The reflections were superb and here photographed as the sun was going down in the stillness of a warm summers evening a magical and mysterious time. Hope you like it.

So I know there’s gotta be other people out there excited about the release of the new Batman Movie The Dark Knight, or is it just me? This is a tribute to possibly one of my favourite movies! This is also one of my first really serious attempts at creating some digital artwork in Photoshop. This is the result of me having a lot of time, sitting at home sick when I should be at work. The question is can you see Batman?? For this I started off with one of my pics of Melbourne, Australia from Southbank which was a HDR from 3 exposures. I then added in bats, flood lights, batman, the moon etc. and then once again a lot of tinkering in Lightroom to finetune :) Click here for my other images of Melbourne

100% photoshop. Tried to make it look as real as possible. This is what the sky looked like as I was driving home last night. It was so beautiful.
