  • Edinburgh is sometimes referred to as the Athens of the North. To the best of my knowledge the main reason for the reference to Athens is due to the skyline of Calton Hill. / This artistic piece shows the Edinburgh Skyline of Calton Hill. Does it remind you of Athens? I wouldn’t know but I do know Edinburgh is a beautiful city. / Or at least it was until they started digging up all the roads to bring back a Tram service!! /
