Tenders at rest in the pale pre dawn glow. One of subjects I love to shoot most at Queenscliff, finally after many trips and years I feel like I got ‘it’ this time.
I have three cats at home and my buddy Taz loves to wrestle. I wanted to reach out and wrestle with this fella, but you and I both know it is a good thing I left well enough alone.

These lovely wolves are protected in a preserve called the Lakota Wolf Wildlife Preserve, in Columbia NJ. If you live close to NJ or Penn. it’s worth a visit. They have regular tours and Photo tours, I took these shots on the regular tour, although the other tour is probably better for a serious photography experience with wolves. This image was digitally enhanced with the ink brush stroke filters. Part of the proceeds from the profits of the sales of these prints will be donated to the organization.

This photo was taken at the National Gallery of Victoria on St. Kilda Rd, Melbourne. There was a girl resting on one of the concrete slabs. Highlighting her was what I wanted to achieve in this image. The large black area in this is the archway entrance and reflection to the building.

Here I sit / in control / of my world. / My life / is full of joy.
It is a little know fact that the Jason and the Argonauts, those famous sailors of Greek mythology, once landed on the coast of Ireland. As they searched the world for the Golden Fleece, Jason was told by an unknown minstrel with a bit of a brogue, that Irish sheep are very easy to capture, being as the minute an oncoming car or truck appears on the horizon, said sheep promptly make themselves comfortable in the middle of the road. They refuse to move until shifted. Happy Days, thought Jason, if the Fleece is there, we’ll find it in no time; if not, we’ll be sure of a good Irish stew. / If you don’t believe me, look at this photo carefully. There is the mighty ship the Argo, bathing in the glow of an Irish sunset. The ship is from one of my own photos taken in Greece. It was cut out and merged with a sunset shot I took in Donegal. Levels and curves used to darken, and Orton effect applied.

A lovely, sunny day. A lovely Koi pool with lilies. What more could one ask for on a day like that? Maybe a sketch pad and some great lighting? Yep. That was it. :o) Recreated and painted in Photoshop as a watercolor. There were 5 layers to created the transparent quality and sometimes etched edges we see in watercolors. It took about four hours total time.
