i wish people would leave animals where they are…non commercial use… / the iquana cannot live in the wild in much of the world…people get them from pet stores..these cute little lizards…and have no idea of the care and space they need to survive. so, some just let them go into the wild…bad idea. / i took sunee in about 9 years ago… / his habitat is a 12’ by 12” sunroom…with large windows, facing the woods, a small pool, dessert lighting and heat lighting..rocks rock garden..he is quite spoiled. / litter trained, and gets along with the other animals… / they live for years…20ish..he is a vegetarian… this is for bonita…she still misses her girl… terri

i am a woman who wants nothing more than to feel the kindness in everyday… / to be a part of bringing peace to everyone..everywhere…and to feel the love deep to my soul.. i love to teach life… here is an part of a talk i gave at a recent workshop i was involved in on diversity i appreciate those who take the time to read this.. hi, my name is terri I would like to welcome you to a discussion on being…one world and one people… I was asked to give you a few minute intro to the events of the evening…well if you know me you know when it comes to this subject, its hard to keep it short…but I will try. one world one people…..... is not hating someone because of… the color of their skin the god who is prayed to age gender or shape of the body the person they love or the life that they lead seeing the heart thru the skin / seeing the person within men woman black white green.. skinny or fat and all in between…walk in a chair…gay straight whoever you choose young old educated and not… we are all diferent… i see you all as someone who matters and makes a difference in our world. why do I speak…because I have seen too much hate and too much death. i went on for a bit longer….but i wanted to share some ot the people and their stories.. there was the 15 year old boy whose face was healing from being beaten up at school by a classmate who thought he looked to much like a girl. as he talked I could see him shake and my heart melted. he thinks that life would be better without him. there was a man, kinda scruffy, tall and dark skin who told how people cross the street when he goes for his daily walks. the fear people have of him upon first sight. he is a Vietnam vet and was shot in the face. the woman in her 40s…fired from her job of many years when she became involved in another woman. the pastor who had spoken angrily about “those kinds of people” and damn them to hell, was brought to tears when he told us of his sons death. his son so afraid to talk to his dad about his life, his fears and his dreams…that he hung himself from a rope. the father not allowed to see his children. the woman who gets laughed at by her co workers because of her size the 3 children who were embarrassed because they had a gay parent it is up to all of us to teach people about diversity. there is too much hate, to much violence and too much death. so please be patient and tolerant..be kind to each other…do not hate someone because they are not like you or dont fit your expectations. we are all different and we all matter… thank you. terri

this is bonita… beautiful, strong, life force, dreamer, love, passion, teacher and friend..her sunsets melt my heart…. to me flowers in the garden remind me of those i love…i will be putting up images of flowers and who they remind me of… when i first started didital on soa…there was a crazy fun spirited woman from alabama…who made me laugh before we ever met…she inspired people to do whatever made them happy..not to listen to anyone who tried to cut them down.. i respect her as an artist and a human…i love her.. this is for you bonita…. bamagirt38
