Enjoy Aspartame / Ingestion may cause cause headaches, muscle pain, dizziness, / memory loss, diarrhea, fatigue, vomiting and more. An ingredient in diet coke and many other artificially sweetened products, aspartame is surrounded by controversy. There are programs for people who are heavily addicted to diet drinks, and multitudes of reports by doctors and toxicology experts detailing the negative effects of aspartame on the body. Loads of people get really sick from the stuff, and apparently the way it got approved for use is extremely shady as well, with the scientist doing the toxicology approval being paid $1000 per day on a ten year contract. Also this from a redbubbler.

  • Heres the next questionable food additive on my list. Its aspartame which you will find in many diet foods as an artificial sweetener. its was leagalised in very shady circumstances after it apparently caused brain tumours in rats during a clinical study. Interestingly when i first read up on aspartame on wikipeadia it had a big article stating all the problems with it and its questionable legalisation by fat cats that served to get rich off of it. Now if you look the article is much shorter and barely mentions the bad stuff. How strange!

For those who aren’t aware there has been a poison in the food chain now for going on nearly 30 yrs…it’s name is Aspartame…and it alters its function once ingested. A couple of years ago a friend was diagnosed with a thyroid problem and she was considering at the doctor’s request an operation. When I asked her if she drank diet soft drinks she laughed and said ‘yes, 2 cans a day at work’...then asked why I asked. I told her then about Aspartame and mailed her some scientific information on this additive. I also checked with another friend who is a Scientist and she told me that this poison was discovered by another scientist breaking the golden rule of a laboratory….he ate his lunch at his work desk and spilt a little of the substance on his lunch…ate it, had no side effects, noticed the sweet taste and from that developed the substance into artificial sweetener which has been added to food/drinks since the late 1970’s. If you would like to know more about the symptoms this poison creates in the body you can read them here where there is also a link that will take you to another page of the same site which will explain What It Is (Aspartame that is) and how it alters its composition within the body….and, it does not get eliminated from the body like most other additives…it builds up in the fat cells and becomes Aspartame poisoning bringing on all sorts of symptoms. As for my friend….well she stopped drinking the diet soft drinks, checked her cupboards…threw out 7 different food stuffs containing the artificial sweetener including yoghurt from her refrigerator and within 2 weeks her symptoms had gone. She returned to the doctor who did further tests and who was amazed that her problem had cleared up. The doctor asked her what she had done so she told the doctor about the Aspartame. Surprisingly, her doctor had never heard of it…nor had ever been warned about this poison in the food chain. My friend then handed over the information I had sent her to that doctor who then started treating her patients with renewed knowledge. Needless to say my friend did not need the operation. I hope this information can help you, your family & friends who may not be aware that this little additive may be what is causing their health problems. I also add here that if you have health problems do not avoid seeing your doctor based on this information alone….by all means do see your doctor and take their advice…but also mention to them your new found knowledge of Aspartame and if they are not aware of it….give them the links and information so that they can also follow up with further research…doctors are not always told by the medical authorities what is being foistered upon people by those higher up the ladder and in the pharmaceutical world. It seems to mean more to some businesses benefit to keep people in a state of bad health than to keep their buying public healthy. Some seem to have a mind-set of Unhealthy Society = Healthy Economy….to my way of looking at it…that is putting the worth of money ahead of the worth of humans….and that is evil. CJ

Mind you, I have no idea if this means it affects hyperthyroidism, as well, but, during all that praying and researching, I read one very important thing that I forgot to share with anyone else, I think. Aspartame is one of the very worst things on this planet for aggravating your thyroid and sending it all out of whack. I can’t remember where I read it, but, if I run into it again, I shall post the information. This makes total sense to me, as since I’ve been in Arizona, I have been drinking more diet sodas, and when I started having problems to the point of it being unmanageable, I was drinking diet sodas and never the other kind, anymore, and that’s when they had fully switched to aspartame! Also, hmm .. look at the statistics on fat little Americans, especially the women who try and try and just can’t lose weight. When did it become, as they say, epidemic? Why, I believe that was after they took saccharine out of the diet sodas and put aspartame in it’s place. Wasn’t it? That was late 70’s, early 80’s… yep! That’s when! Keep it in mind! I am not saying never have your favorite diet soda. I am, however, saying that moderation is, as always, a very good idea! I’m going to be backing off them and onto more water and unsweetened tea!
