This hypnotic Grey Wolf painting was created from a recent photograph taken on a trip to the Canadian Rockies. I am a strong advocate for animal rights as much as I am for human rights. We can peacefully co-exist once we learn the ways of the wilderness animals and show respect for them. 50% of proceeds from this design benefits the Northern Lights Wildlife Wolf Centre as they strive to educate us about the Way of the Wolf. This recent digital painting is directly modelled on one of two rare White Ravens born on Vancouver Island in May, 2008. Known by the Haida First Nations people as “Spirit Ravens”, these two wonderful birds were born along with 3 black siblings to two accepting Raven parents. What a thrill it was to watch them fly as my friend and I took hundreds of photos and some fun video footage of these rarities. Spirit Ravens are not albino, although they resemble them from a distance.
