Who can resist these eyes? This image is a reproduction of my original color pencil painting on drafting paper of ’”Blink” a beautiful cat owned by a fellow artist. “Blink” was placed Second in the Painting – Drawing Any Subject category at the 2008 Canning Show (First Place was awarded to my colour pencil painting “We Three Kings II – Lion” and Third to “Noble” my German Shepherd Dog in charcoal (yes I was very pleased with this Hat Trick!).
Illusion- See title
A photograph with “home made P.S.” the only difference is that the objects were live, hand picked and hand applied. It was made with layers of nature, reflections and things around the house. /
This guy was pretty cool, sitting there minding his own business, and I just had to get the shot. But as I lifted the camera and looked through the lens he just broke into this mean stare into the lens like he was gonna hurt me. I saw it and quickly pressed the shutter. Later I complimented him on his tattoos and showed him the shot and it was then that his frown turned into a broad grin…phew!
A photograph…..printed and drawn over and photographed again….shadow added. These are some of the creative things my daughters and I like to do, she is going away to sixth grade camp on October 31 st. so she will miss out on “trick or treating” but there are some more projects we plan to do before she goes.
Colored pencil drawing, just playing around with faces, wanted to make her lizard like. There’s is no other meaning behind this drawing and I wont be doing this again ….. ouch….my wrist…. / .
This is a self-portrait of myself inspired by the art I always saw growing up as a Catholic. Just wondered how I might appear as a saint…...☺ / The original work was completed with watercolor and gouache media on Arches cold-press cotton rag.

Impressionist, painterly / Two boys doing what they do best in the rain. Originally impressionism was that the colour should be dropped pure on the canvas rather than mixed on the palette. Today, now that we have so many new paints and mediums to work with, while the original concept of impressionism remains the same, styles and techniques have evolved. / My style of Impressionism embraces traditional painting. It is the evolution of impressionism that i am hoping to achieve, from the original traditional techniques of impressionist painting all the way to this modern impressionist digital art which can be stylized and painterly depending on my subject and mood. My work is hand painted digital painting and is an emerging art form in which traditional painting techniques such as watercolor, oils, etc. are applied using digital tools by means of a computer, a digitizing tablet and stylus, and software. Digital painting differs from other forms of digital art, particularly computer-generated art, in that it does not involve the computer rendering from a model. The artist uses painting techniques to create the digital painting directly on the computer. / I create the painting, directly on my PC, by using a Wacom tablet, a stylus pen and ArtRage painting software. The Wacom tablet can be compared to a canvas or watercolor paper surface. The stylus pen is my paintbrush.

There are more than 6 billion human beings on Earth. According to the population estimates released by the United Nations, the 6 billion mark was reached on October 12 1999. 18×24 acrylic on canvas I painted this one for The Divine Feminine’s challenge “Loving Ladies”. This is my favorite goddess of Love, Lakshmi. This is not your traditional painting of Lakshmi, for instance, I didn’t give her 4 arms. But I think it captures her beauty and femininity. Lakshmi is also the goddess of beauty and wealth. She is kind of like the goddess of the law of attraction. In truth, Lakshmi teaches us to accept our beauty and to find true happiness in the realization of the abundance of our soul. Medium sized framed print Greeting Card T-shirt
This is for the happy challenge / . / Rate yourself on a scale from 1-10 (1 being seriously depressed, 10 being the happiest) and then create self-portrait expressing that state. / . / I started with this photograph / . / / . / Then printed it out, painted and used sharpie and photographed it again and played some more in gimp lol why ? IDK I look so creepy …...............A rate of 7 out of 10 in happiness :)

A story from Cambodia: I met the girl in the red pyjamas on a hot day in one of Angkor’s busy temples. Although we ended up spending a nice amount of time getting to know each other, this photo was taken before she’d seen me sitting across the hallway. Her mother was busy selling incense to the tourists in a hurry to get through and see the sights- and the girl in red pyjamas sat still and well behaved. What happened next is here
A photo that I printed out and did a bit of drawing on before I scanned it. / I heard this John Mayer song when I was drawing and then I got carried away :)
