TITLE OF ARTWORK: / SPOOKY OWL ARTWORK CREATED ON: Paper APPROXIMATE SIZE: 8.5”x11” inches. MATERIALS USED: Acrylics, Watercolors , White-Out Pen , Markers. Signed by the artist and completed in January 2007. ABOUT THIS: Up in the trees in a dark winters day. The sun is setting and the cold wind is blowing. It starts to snow and you hear the empty echo of where you are. The snow is creating a heavy fog. You can not see. You stumble around trying to move through the fog and snow but you fall victim to the harsh conditions. You suddenly fall paralyzed on the cold hard ground. In your last moments you hear wings flap and the loud screech of an owl.

HDR image of a Steinway Piano at a friends’ home. She’s quite an accomplished artist herself, she painted the images behind the piano in Tuscany Italy. I’m looking for a good title for this image, this piano hasn’t been played in years. If you can think of a title that jumps out at you, I’d appreciate you posting it for me. Thanks. I looked up high / to the stars in the sky / ... / and the moon sung me to sleep / with a lullaby / ... / I looked below / to the waves in the sea / ... / and the boats rocked me to sleep / so peacefully / ... / In my dreams / I sailed the seas / ... / to far away land / and tropical streams / ... / where rainbows grow / up everywhere / ... / and I would wear them / in my hair by karin taylor 19/12/09 The first verse of the poem is displayed on artwork. Since I had some spare time today while everyone else in my family is doing a big clean up (done my spring cleaning already) I enjoyed creating this pencil drawing on paper, which I’ve enhanced digitally. A dreamy little decorative work that would enhance a child’s room and take them to other places in their dreams.
