My second ever calendar showcases my Migaloomagic creations here This one showcases 13 of my latest brown paper creations and maybe would made a nice Christmas present for someone you know. If you would like to buy a Calendar from me, it’s very easy! / All you need to do is bmail me to let me know you’d like one of these Calendars and we’ll take it from there RedBubble calendars are printed on an HP Indigo 5000 (for those who haven’t heard, this is the digital press). Each page is a matte coated print on 170gsm pages. The cover shows your choice of image on heavier 300gsm paper.   / Here’s my mum whom we shall now call Sunshine Sal wearing her new Sunshine TShirt We used to call her Tangalooma Sal, but her new name suits her so well…in fact she used to always be called ‘Sunshine’ by her patients when she was nursing, isn’t that sweet – Sunshine Sal is also showing off her brand new gatorboard mounted print Sunshine which comes from the wonderful portfolio of Red Bubbles vector portrait king and friend of mine Matt Mawson Needless to say, Sunshine Sal is tickled pink with her new gear and the qual is fab!   / Hidden Treasure A card of “Hidden Treasure” just flew off to become part of someone else’s life…... / a bit of meeeeeeeeeeee….....whoever purchased this card, i really hope you love it and / thank you so very much!!! Hidden Treasure Golden eggs are not always easy to find / Sometimes they lay hidden in the pockets of our seams / Sometimes we have to look beyond the obvious to see / the beauty in others~ traits of kindness, compassion, nurture and / gentleness are not always obvious at first glance and / what one may perceive as a fault or weakness / may actually be a great strength Hidden Treasure is a mixed media production on hardboard. Included in the mix are moulding paste for the eggs, gold and bronze paint, silver thread, fabric, charcoal, ink, pastel and acrylic with a gloss varnish over the eggs. / There is a poem in the background in gold cursive handwriting, which reads: Hidden Treasure Golden eggs are not always easy to find / Sometimes they lay hidden in the pockets of our seams / Sometimes we have to look beyond the obvious to see / the beauty in others~ traits of kindness, compassion, nurture and / gentleness are not always obvious at first glance and / what one may perceive as a fault or weakness / may actually be a great strength.

  Body of work that is. ;) It is with great pleasure I show you the art that is now in a better place, gone, not to meet their maker, but their founder. The person who will shall the rest of their life-their new admirer. To say it clearly-I have sold some art this year! Rather than tack it into the last journal entry, I’ve decided to make a 2008 sales list. It’ll help me keep track. (mwah ha ha, because it’s wonderfully popular). Yes, it’s great to feel that way sometimes. Often, I go, “that’s nice, achievement made” without really appreciating how awesome that feels. You make art, and if someone else likes it, it is wonderful. I bought an art magazine recently which nominated 50 of the most collectable artists in Australia. I’ve decided I’d like to be on that list. Of course, I’d like to remain anonymous so I can walk down the street, and have an agent…other than that, no clue as to how it will happen, just that I need to keep painting. Anyhoo. I went rollerblading once. It felt so good, I thought I could do this forever. It was like-I’m good at this, I can do it-I’m going fast, not falling over: I could be an olympic racer. Totally normal. Totally human to dream. However dreams require effort. Here are some of the dreams I put into reality, shared with the world and belong in other hands.   It was the beauty in the struggle that enticed me. It was the struggle to perfect a woman’s inner and outer beauty that drove me to this dialect of speech. The Colors and shapes the creator used to mold a woman’s body are flawless. My work can never compare to the curves conceived by the original creator. In my eyes I see a flawless creation with x chromosomes and try to place it on blank sheets of paper and canvas with fineness. / With Greens, pinks, browns, and blues my attempts to replicate this beauty is my muse. It is what makes me the artist i am. It’s why you see what you see. To replicate perfection in total abstraction is my struggle. / In the end I believe woman was a creation of love and positive emotion. http://stores.ebay.com/urban-picasso-art
