At first her Nana said no, but on Christmas Eve Nana could not resist journeying back to the little shop for the doll.. Susan had wanted it ever so badly. I was walking around the neighborhood last fall, looking for something to image when i came across this scene. The chair that was placed near some trash bins by a long abandoned government building. © C J Lewis. A photograph of a ghost gum tree trunk was the inspiration for the subject matter. PhotoPlus6 for air-brushing, smudging, colouring, contrasting and sizing. I use the mouse with the smudge tool to move the colours around and into the shapes desired as I don’t have a Wacom tablet. He was called Jesus Christ as he was Jesus, the man, who was enlightened and as such understood the energies, and therefore the process of life, in this world which is what sayings such as: “As you sow so shall you reap” and “As you give so shall you receive” and other such explanations referred to…the physics of the energies of this world. Enlightened, enlightenment basically means the understanding, the conscious awareness, of just being and living from the higher sense of the knowledge of self, the Higher Spirit which is directly linked to the Soul, the divine God essence of All, that is above the egocentric mind-set which creates animosities when emotions run high and reactions occur to the action of not thinking what is going through one’s mind…reacting in anger to a situation that has made you feel wronged or whatever instead of seeing the emotion for what it is…a bad feeling that urges you on to create a drama in your life. Such unconscious awareness is a form of mental dysfunction (mental illness) and causes reactions such as segregation, wars, killing, jealousies, envies etc and pits nation against nation. Impressionist, Painterly. / The tender kiss is a wonderful feeling. / Digital painting is an emerging art form in which traditional painting techniques such as watercolor, oils, etc. are applied using digital tools by means of a computer, a digitizing tablet and stylus, and software. Digital painting differs from other forms of digital art, particularly computer-generated art, in that it does not involve the computer rendering from a model. The artist uses painting techniques to create the digital painting directly on the computer. / I create the painting, directly on my PC, by using a Wacom tablet, a stylus pen and ArtRage painting software. The Wacom tablet can be compared to a canvas or watercolor paper surface. The stylus pen is my paintbrush.

/ A Pocket Full of Posies Ring a-ring o’ roses, / A pocketful of posies. / a-tissue!, a-tissue!. / We all fall down. I created this from a tissue box for the Mini Challenge: Recycled Art over in the forums here on RB. The tissue box shall now live on my kitchen bench and is the new dispenser for recyclable plastic bags :) this was painted using aquarelle watercolour crayons and black marker pen, over an undercoat of white gesso…fixative applied liberally after to protect the paint work I thought this poem was very appropriate and hence the title….as it was originally a box full of tissues :) there are many variations of this poem, the one i’ve quoted is the UK version.

I have shown my depiction of the Christ lounging back and having a discussion with Mohammed, his brother in spirit and the other beings that are aware of the function of the energies who are ‘awake’. In the background there are faces behind a curtain of darkness that depicts they are close to awakening. The eagle represents an all seeing animal that transcends dimensions hence the white orb around it’s head like that of the main character being a representation of enlightenment. Some people who allow themselves to go through the door of death and travel in spiritual realms during rest can travel in the form of an eagle and take back the memory of what they witnessed during that journey of being a part of nature. This I believe is what the Ancient Egyptians were referring to in their hieroglyphics of human’s with eagle heads – they were, and are, usually high priests/priestesses of spiritual knowledge. The young girl at the feet of the main character represents one who sits at the feet of Christ, her mentor, and spiritual brother. The yin/yang sign depicts the balance of energies that is needed in the world of physicality for the energies to function with equilibrium within the Universal molecular structure. © C J Lewis, Sydney, 2008.
