  • Salvador Domingo Felipe Jacinto Dalí y Domènech, Marquis of Pubol (May 11, 1904 – January 23, 1989), was a Spanish surrealist painter. Dalí was a skilled draftsman, best known for the striking, bizarre, and beautiful images in his surrealist work. His painterly skills are often attributed to the influence of Renaissance masters. Salvador Dalí’s artistic repertoire also included film, sculpture, and photography. He collaborated with Walt Disney on the Academy Award-nominated short cartoon Destino, which was released posthumously in 2003. Widely considered to be greatly imaginative, Dalí had an affinity for doing unusual things to draw attention to himself. This sometimes irked those who loved his art as much as it annoyed his critics, since his eccentric manner sometimes drew more public attention than his artwork. The purposefully sought notoriety led to broad public recognition and many purchases of his works by people from all walks of life. / ............................................................................................. / medium: Watercolour on 185gsm Arches paper. • Andrew Warhola (1928 — 1987), better known as Andy Warhol, was an American artist who became a central figure in the movement known as Pop art. After a successful career as a commercial illustrator, Warhol became famous worldwide for his work as a painter; an avant-garde filmmaker, a record producer, an author and a public figure known for his presence in wildly diverse social circles that included bohemian street people, distinguished intellectuals, Hollywood celebrities and wealthy aristocrats. A controversial figure during his lifetime (his work was often derided by critics as a hoax or “put-on”), Warhol has been the subject of numerous retrospective exhibitions, books and documentary films since his death in 1987. He is generally acknowledged as one of the most influential artists of the twentieth century. New original art listed every Sunday night in my eBay store

  • subject: Pablo Ruiz Picasso (1881 – 1973) was a Spanish painter and sculptor. Falun Gong is an advanced cultivation practice system. In the past it served as an intensive cultivation method that required practitioners with extremely high Xinxing (mind-nature) or great inborn quality. The ancient Egyptians also used this symbol (eons ago and well before the Buddha movement) as depicted in hieroglyphics to signify their use of universal energy to retain connection to their higher spiritual realms and their Gods (their ancestors). The symbol has been used in the falun direction by the Indian tribes of North, Central and South America (as depicted in a Navaho Altar Floor). It is uaually thought to be a charm, talisman, or religious token, esp., a sign of good luck or benediction. It is also found in remains from the Bronze Age in various parts of Europe, esp. at Hissarlik (Troy) and was in frequent use as late as the 10th century. This symbol was also used but in reverse direction by the Nazi movement during WWII. The symbol is also known as a swastika (with arms prolonged to the right), suavastika (with arms prolonged to the left), fylfot and gammadion. • This is possibly one of the feistiest people I know. Full of energy as all kids are, but this one has an energy that’s just a bit different, & I love it when she comes round for a shoot. It’s always fun, & always exhausting! I’m personally new to high key work, so I’m giving it a go…... • © C J Lewis Oils on stretched canvas 30”x 24” (76cm x 61cm) This painting is depicting the power of woman behind man that can lead him to temptations where he faces his own devil within to bring his devilish behaviour to the without … into the world around him, which is shown as a black pit. Above his head is the way free out of the self-induced pit he lives due to his lack of self-control of his temptations and lack of connection to his higher spiritual self. • This watercolour is framed in a matching golden and black frame with a wide matt board a long painting. Thanks to Scatti evolutivi for permission to use her photo. This is for Malawi see www.shirleycharlton.com The Malawi woman are beautiful mothers they have a kindness and have a gift at bringing up children. Babies are so happy on their backs as they go about their work either digging thier gardens or fetching water, or firewood. I enjoyed painting this from Scatti’s photo and used artistic licence to make the child look happy as in the photo he looked a little sad. They maybe poor but they take the trouble with the scarf and headdress. Of course a photo is more exact but I hope I have captured the caring Malawian Mother, and a Mothers Love as Jesus loves us. Painted on Arches watercolour paper.

Hi everyone, Well, we spent a long day in the studio today hanging paintings and it’s so satisfying to finally have this all done now. It feels great, more spacious and more like a real gallery. We’ve had the hanging system lying on the floor of the studio for well over a year now, and never got round to actually putting it up, so I thought I’d share a couple of pics with you guys!! I don’t think I’ve ever mentioned it before, but I have lots of original paintings for sale, if anyone is ever interested in the original work, give me a yell and we can talk turkey :) I have lots and lots that are unframed too and you can’t see ‘em here .. so let me know if you see something you like in my portfolio and would like the original
