Was inspired after seeing a framed fabric print in my nephew’s bedroom. I loved the simplicity of it. Being a Melbournite…. I’m very familiar with umbrellas and have many :) I love pastel colours. FEATURED in Bubbler’s Weekly Challenge. .

Technique: Scanned an original drawing image, was digitally colour manipulated in Photoshop and then variables were placed in unit formation. Symbolism / Heart to heart – where Love = union of mind, body and spirit, resides, lives and empowers one’s being in LIFE (15). “Home is where the heart is” = oft in multiple places, both visible and invisible. SPIRIT (30) / “Spirit is the Pure Creative Intelligent Energy that engenders and infuses all of Life.” EuGene (Ref inc. No’s – The Trinity Creation) From the Exhibition Elevating the Spirit 2007. For over half my life, I lived in small town Alberta. A town of 6000 people, mostly farmers, ranchers and blue collar workers. I couldn’t get out soon enough. Now, after living in the City for 12 years, I can’t wait to get back, if only for a few days. The town is surrounded by fields of Canola and Wheat. An island in an ocean of crops like the one you see now.
