I finally got around to enlarging her, as i have her loaded as a small image for a card, but now she’s available as a print also…one of my favourites :) I hope you like her….she’s hiding in the jungle

After a very long winter (so far) I needed something that sang Spring time is just around the corner! After a lot of fuss, and several hours, in Photoshop and Painter X this is the final result. Every pixel of this piece was re-painted (digitally) by hand. All of the apple blossoms and leaves were created from scratch. As a final touch I added some texture to the piece to give it that last little edge I was looking for. This one is about the connection we have with our loved ones, roses always speak volumes about beauty, love, romance…......and wanting to connect…...what happens we we give and receive roses, why do we give and receive them…..it’s really sentimental stuff…..ahh where would we be without all that roses say for us, through us, about us, to others :) I hope you like my “Sweet Rosie”.....these roses are for you :)
