Detail of a drawing done in ARTHAUSE XTRA, Lighting from LIGHT ARTIST. Both programs are small and free, but ARTHAUSE doesn’t run on a 64-bit machine. (I draw it on my 32-bit, then save it to my external hard drive. I can call up the drawing, just not the program in the 64-bit unit.)

Shown in the Darkside exhibition at the TAP gallery in Darlinghurst, Sydney. The actual print in that show was a little dark and I’m actually embarrassed that I couldn’t get a better print for my first ever showing in Sydney. I’m a recent graduate from Newcastle Art School holding off 3rd year BFA for another year. in that time I’ll be doing more of my genre of photographic roll play and also a bit of graphite on paper as well. Those are my main work areas but it’s hard to limit such to one or two when there is so much activity and inspiration in what Newcastle has become. A once thriving but very boring city is giving way to a hamlet of artist, musicians, circus life and visionaries. Many thanks to the Arthause in Hunter Street in Newcastle for use of their space and facilities.
