Who can resist these eyes? This image is a reproduction of my original color pencil painting on drafting paper of ’”Blink” a beautiful cat owned by a fellow artist. “Blink” was placed Second in the Painting – Drawing Any Subject category at the 2008 Canning Show (First Place was awarded to my colour pencil painting “We Three Kings II – Lion” and Third to “Noble” my German Shepherd Dog in charcoal (yes I was very pleased with this Hat Trick!).

This piece was recently part of an exhibition. My cat, Muffin found a new grey cat in the neighbourhood and is very fond of it. They now hang out together quite a bit. This is my kitty Bell Bottoms…and quite the character!

My second attempt at colour pencils, this is also the first time I,ve ever drawn a leopard and omg it was difficult! Drawn on smooth paper with Derwent coloured pencil it measures 450mm x 320mm. So far this drawing have had 724 views.
