Diesel never has an idea of what to draw. The art usually finds itself once the pen hits the paper – or in digital terms – the mouse hits the pad.

The light that we view in the skies at night, has traveled thousands to millions of years to reach us. There for, they no longer exist in the ever expanding universe in the same place that we now see them. Sometimes I wonder, that moment captured in time and space, what someone out there, may have been doing or wondering as they viewed the skies on their worlds. This design represents the constantly expanding universe of time and space. When you think of it, at this very moment I am typing this and at the very moment you are viewing this, our light from our star is heading outward for someone else to view. In a way, interconecting us all on some level and granting us a small bit of immortality. At least, that is how I view it.

This piece was started digitally at 8:00 am this morning and finished at 10:16 pm. This is the first time that I started and finished a piece with only bathroom and food breaks. I do not recomend it for the weak of heart =). This piece is actually dedicated and for Kris of explosm. I told him I would return the favor for him exposing me to so many people. This piece is meant to represent the calmness that water brings us and that it has the ability to crush us with it’s power. Without water, we do not exist, and this is also my way of showing appreciation for this nonliving entity.
