I have been waiting for this kind of shot for a long time. The storms were fierce with a ton of rain last night. I decided to take of work and spend the day at the falls near my house. I must have snapped 200 pictures today. What a great day!! I found a new toy its my infrared lens. After some weeks of devoloping this piece in my mind it finally just started to come together. As usual I went at the theme with something different in mind. What are we to say about how the divine eye sees our world or we may see the divine world in comparison to our own. This thought inspired a more surreal feel to the finished product. This was taken in Cumberland Falls Kentucky. This is one of only two places on earth that renders a Moon Bow. The other Falls that has a Moon Bow is Victoria Falls in Africa. This is a combination of two photo’s to add heighth to the tree line and a sky. I did some digital painting work on this to blen the two in a pleasing manor.

A view of Victoria Falls and the Zambezi Gorge from the Zimbabwean side. I spent 2 days at the falls walking both sides of the border in Zambia and Zimbabwe. The water spray was magical, I was soaked through and keeping camera gear protected became an art in itself. / The red speck in the background is a person viewing the falls from another vantage point.

Seven Falls is a hidden treasure that is believed by many to be the most beautiful canyon in the world. People from all over the world come to see it. It is located near Cheyenne Mountain in Colorado Springs, Co. A narrow two laned road leads through a canyon with massive rock formations on either side. The colors and shapes of the rock walls are breathtaking. At the end of the canyon there are seven waterfalls.They say a picture is worth a thousand words but not even a picture could capture the beauty of this nature lovers paradise. It has to be seen.

In between rain storms, the lush green west bank of this waterfall gets soaked with extra volume in Zigzag River.

North Falls is located in the Silver Falls State park. This is another of the ten falls located on this trail loop. Notice the fog floating up from the mist of the fall.

The way the rocks are cut (by nature) it looks like two pictures. This is one of several cascading waterfalls. The water collects in a large pool and then starts down the canyon wall again and again….Seven Falls Canyon is in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
