I have also used a variety of found objects, including lace and ribbons…and an especially beautiful gold paint for the wings which were underpainted first to created texture. On of my favourite paintings, my heart and soul went into this piece…two sweet little girls in darling dresses hanging out in the garden together….what could be nicer.

..the old horse transitioning from horseflesh to spirit, his long and arduous journey is over..he’s goin’ home… my Granny always said ‘Live old horse and you’ll get grass”... ‘Welcome home’ Home ‘Bereavement’ I sketched the horse and layered the graphics on top in photoshop+Corel original sketch layered 3 times and added effects and graphics in Corel/Photoshop

/ / / Dot and Spot is from the ‘Beach’ and ‘Friends’ Series of cards and prints by Karin Taylor. The original painting sold some time ago at a local art prize called the Southern Cross Art & Craft Exhibition in Ballina. It is one of my favourite pieces. Dot and Spot was created on canvas textured paper, using mixed media.
