TRYING TO GET RECOGNIZED FOR MY STYLE (a little story)

ITS BEEN A LONG TIME COMING WITH DISCOVERING WHAT ART STYLE I WOULD BE INTERESTED IN AFTER MY GRAPHIC DESIGN DEGREE. I MEAN THERE IS SO MUCH OUT THERE THAT IS “TYPICAL” TO SOCIETY. YOU HAVE YOUR “CONTEMPORARY”“TRADITIONAL”“PAINTINGS”-PHOTOGRAPHY”....ETC. I PLAYED WITH THE THE DIFFERENT GENRES OF ART AND JUST GOT NO INTEREST IN WHAT WAS WITHIN SUCH THE “NORM”. I SOON REALIZED THAT I NEEDED TO GO BACK TO MY YOUNGER DAYS AND SEE WHAT INSPIRED ME BACK THEN. I MEAN, YEAH BACK THEN I WAS INTO CARTOONS AND SUCH. SO I TRIED THAT IN THE MEANS OF DRAWING. I DID PLENTY OF DRAWINGS IN MORE OF THE COMIC BOOK STYLE BUT YET IT DIDNT CATCH ON TO ME. AFTER SEARCHING DEEPER INTO MY YOUNGER CHILDHOOD I REMEMBERED THE FIRST TIME ME AND MY DAD WATCHED THE ORIGINAL “NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD”. NEEDLESS TO SAY AT MY YOUNG AGE THE MOVIE SCARED THE HELL OUT OF ME YET I FOUND GREAT INTEREST IN THE IDEA OF PEOPLE WHO HAVE DIED AND COME BACK TO LIFE. I MEAN THE MOVIE MAY BE GRUESOME AND THE ZOMBIES MAY BE CREEPY BUT I REMEMBER HOW DRAWN INTO I WAS TO SEE SOMETHING SO DIFFERENT BESIDES THE TYPICAL THINGS YOUNGER KIDS WATCH SUCH AS DISNEY MOVIES AND NICKELODEON. AFTER SEEING THAT MOVIE WITH MY DAD…MANY OTHER VERSIONS OF DIFFERENT ZOMBIE MOVIES FOLLOWED (AS THEY HAD CAUGHT ON WITHIN MAINSTREAM FILM VIEWERS) THEIR WAS A HIGH DEMAND BACK THEN AND STILL TO THIS DAY FOR THE “ZOMBIE” IDEA IN A MOVIE. TAKING WHAT I HAVE SEEN IN THE TON OF ZOMBIE MOVIES MY DAD LET ME WATCH BACK THEN AND THE ONES I HAVE SEEN IN MY ADULT YEARS, I GOT INSPIRED TO BREAK OUT OF THE NORMAL BOX OF WHAT MOST CONSIDER ART. ALOT OF PEOPLE CAN SEE MY ART AND SAY THAT IT IS A DISGRACE TO EVEN CONSIDER IT ART BUT COME TO FIND OUT WITH ALL THE ZOMBIE ART/MOVIE FANS OUT IN THE WORLD I SOON BECAME TO LEARN THAT I WAS NOT ALONE. I HAVE GOTTEN OVER 160+ REQUESTS ON MYSPACE TO DO PEOPLES PICTURES AND MOST OF THE TIME I DO JUST TO SPREAD WHAT I AM TRYING TO REPRESENT AS AN ART FORM. I WAS VERY VERY LUCKY TO HAVE PLAYBOY MODEL AVA ADDAMS CONTACT ME ON MY PAGE AND HAVING HER WANTING ME TO DO A ZOMBIE PICTURE OF HER! (COME TO FIND OUT THROUGH EMAILING HER, SHE IS VERY HUGE INTO ZOMBIE HORROR) NOT SOMETHING THE AVERAGE PERSON WOULD EXPECT FROM A PLAYBOY MODEL RIGHT? SECONDLY, I HAD BEEN CONTACTED BY MODEL TAWNY AMBER TO ALSO DO A PICTURE OF HER ASWELL AND I JUMPED RIGHT TO IT! SHE HAD JUST EMAILED ME LAST NIGHT WITH ANOTHER PICTURE OF HER THAT SHE WANTS ME TO WORK ON AND I GLADLY AGREED! SO I AM EXCITED THAT IT SEEMS THAT MY ART FORM HAS NOT JUST STARTED TO BE NOTICED BY JUST BASIC PEOPLE ON THE INTERNET BUT ALSO WITH PEOPLE WHO HAVE A SORT OF FAME TO THEM AND THAT MAKES ME HOPEFUL THAT MY STYLE WILL TAKE OFF AND BE RECOGNIZED AND POSSIBLY PUBLISHED SOMEDAY (THAT IS MY MAIN GOAL IS TO BE PUBLISHED BUT I HAVE SUCH LIMITED RESOURSES ON WHERE TO EVEN TO BEGIN WITH THAT) WELL, THIS IS ALL ABOUT I HAVE TO SAY IN HERE AND AS ONE PERSON TOLD ME ON MY MYSPACE PAGE, THE RECOMMENDED THAT MY NEW HEADLINE FOR MY PAGE SHOULD SAY “SPREAD THE VIRUS”! IN TURN MEANING THAT MAINLY ALL ZOMBIE MOVIES USUALLY TEND TO INVOLVE SOME WEIRD VIRUS OR CONTAMINATION THAT MAKES THE DEAD COME TO LIFE….............CHRIS.

Hey everyone!! The wonderfully creative Jo O’Brien has just begun a chain of interviews to bring all of us closer to some of our favorite artists!! The first ball was given to MuscularTeeth who interviewed the famous Karin Taylor and Butchart. Karin then proceed to interview me and Mui-Ling !! What an honor!! Yay!! So now presenting Midori Furze!!! ....................................................................................................................................................... How does being a creative person and pursuing your creativity affect other aspect of your life? I carry a timer set up as an alarm clock. / When I am in the mode of creativity I often forget the time, so I set the timer for whenever my next important time will be e.g. picking up children, start cooking dinner or phone call someone. / When the bell goes, I switch myself and remember where I am and do what I’m suppose to do so I can manage my days on this planet. / I also have a diary which tells me what I must do on that day. / If the diary has a blank space, I smile and go straight to my studio and stay there all day but these days I always have something on it. : ((( / I am lucky to have a husband who accepts me as I am. I hope he does. / He might believe that it’s normal because I am Japanese. Hehehe… / By the way I thought he was a bit different from others but I liked him as he is and I thought “Well… he is an unusual guy. I guess because he is an Australian!!” After we moved to Australia I realised he IS a unique, even from others in Australia. Tell us about one person or moment that has made your time on redbubble particularly special or meaningful I am a great fan of Karin Taylor and Frozenfa. I know many wonderful people on Red Bubble and I love them too, but Karin and fa are soooooooooooooo special to me. / They are special to many people on RB and I am proud I know them too. / Oh, it has to be one person? / OK then, that will be TIM ( the Twisted Inner Monster is a Frozenfa’s creation). / I know he isn’t really a person, but I think he is close enough. / He makes me smile. / He makes me laugh. / Hug~! Show & tell us about five works on redbubble that have moved or inspired you I have been on RB for 6 months, and I have met a lot of wonderful people and seen great artworks. It is very difficult to choose only 5 works. Can I put 50? No? Oh, it is soooooooooooooo tough!! OK, here it is… / The Band! by Ellen / Ron Carter 02 by Jean M. Laffita / Shoreline by kafka / Dead Friends 5 by John Douglas / Imaginary Life 2007 by Paul Ruiz If you see their works, you will understand why I choose them!! / I’m also inspired by these lovely people and their works, – hahpistuff, Ken Mucke, Tine Wiggens, yanmos, Matt Tworkowski, vladstudio, girlinthestars, Cailean, Ronald wigman and of course Karin Taylor and Frozenfa. Sorry I can’t mention all of you. : ((( / Thank you for reading. / Lots of loooooooove and a biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig hug! ....................................................................................................................................................... Thank you SO SO much for your time and effort, Midori!!!! Thanks for letting me do this interview with you! Hugs!! XD / I think Midori is a wonderful artist who’s great in both painting and digital work! you should really check out her gallery here Have you seen her portfolio of the exhibitions she’s been involved in? I think she’s really great, not to mention so very kind and friendly!! Thank you so much for doing this interview with me, Midori!! =D And of course thank you everyone for reading!! do me and Midori a favor and help journal about this interview to let all your friends know, will ya? am quite a small fry with not many ppl watching me, so it’d be great if others can read this interview too! Hell, am so broadcasting this interview into my blog for everyone to see. Is it ok, Midori? =D PS: Tim is squealing like a lil school girl in my head, it’s so funny.. ahahahah.. XD / Tim: Am NOT SQUEALING!! squeal!!! oooh i’d so glomp Midori-sama!!! XD

A question of style

So, I sort of hinted at the funk I’m in at the moment in my last journal entry. The truth is, I feel very creatively crippled right now. I have ideas that my skills can’t handle. My style is all over the place. I’m in a period of rupture and break. This is good, right? All artists and designers have to find themselves in this predicament every now and then and it pushes them into new territory – hopefully better and more successful territory for all the angst and self doubt. It’s a Big Deal that I’m opening this up to you guys, my peers and of course the lurking supporters of my work. Typically I am quite insular, fearing that if I open up about my worries that I might be seen as a failure or unsuccessful. No one wants to be that person. But this is the thing, right? This is a hurdle I need to leap over. If I can’t open up a dialogue with people who may well be experiencing the same issues, gosh I’m a pretty bad communicator and in turn, a poor artist. It’s the essence of what we’re doing, isn’t it?! So, I’m having trouble with style. My style. It feels like I’m dabbling in too many mediums and stretching myself all over them in a chaotic sticky jam like mess. If you want to, we can use this entry to talk about issues of style: how you found yours; if you’re on a quest to find it; or if you’re evolving from one style to another. This whole issue reminded me of an entry on madeit.com.au’s blog: Independent Designers & Developing Style. I’ll include a few examples from that entry here. / Audrey Kawasaki (USA) “Blueroom” – 1999 / Audrey Kawasaki (USA) “Karasaki” – 2008 / Stella Im Hultberg (USA) “Jolie” 2005 / Stella Im Hultberg (USA) 2008 / Lilly Piri (AU) “At The Gallery” 2004 / Lilly Piri (AU) “Monkey Arms” 2008 It’s quite amazing to see how these beautiful artists have grown.

Yay!! And so yesterday i’ve managed to interview Midori Furze!! am so so thankful that she’s willing to take the time to answer. Please do read her interview here!! =D Now presenting one of my favorite artist on RB, BarbBarcikKeith!!! / / ......................................................................................................................................................... My Creativity How does being a creative person and pursuing your creativity affect other aspects of your life? You know, the first thing that popped into my head with this question is “don’t clean the house very much”!! I do what I have to do only.. nothing extra. The house still manages to get clean (with only 2 of us here, it’s not that hard!) though. / Actually, I don’t get out much. I have deadlines and things that I have to get done so I’m at the drawing board as often as possible. I do take breaks because my hands won’t allow me to stay at it as long as I would like to. BUT.. I am married to a man that does the wash.. cooks the meals.. does the shopping and even runs the vacuum every once in a while and THAT really helps a lot. He does hate my headphones though… Tell us about one person or moment that has made your time on redbubble particularly special or meaningful One person??? You must be mad! I’ve been on RB for about 8 months now and I don’t think I’ve ever met a more caring, considerate or complimentary group of people in my life! The encouragement is wonderful and the camaraderie and extremely helpful. I’ve recommended the Bubble to other artists on other sites as well and the ones that have actually joined have found it a lot like home… Show & tell us about five works on redbubble that have moved or inspired you / In no particular order: / The Letter by Roz McQuillan touched me with the way the painting is done just enough to let you know that something important is happening. Love the way she did it.. and find it inspiring in many ways. / Temptress by Lindseyh blew my mind the first time I saw it! I thought the execution exceptional but the idea of it all was just too cool.. (you sure I can only have five?) / Then there is Falcon Studies by eric shepherd is simply PERFECT! I love the way he put all if it together.. the colors, the background.. everything about it is inspiring.. / I Drew Drew by alleycatsgarden which is really superb pencil work and has given me a lot of ideas for future works. / Ruffled Gold by John Houle shows what you can do with a simple pencil. The way he did the feathers.. mind-blowing!! Now, I would like to mention some others that have equally inspired and awed me: Brian Towers, Carlos Solorza, Terry Dunnett, Matthew Thornburg, L.K. Southward, Randy Jones, Bec Winnel and I could go on forever but there’s only so much space. / Numerous artists, photographers have made a difference either in me or in my art. This is a great place to be!! / ......................................................................................................................................................... Thank you so so much, Barb!! Thank you for the honor. i really love your works! i’m especially touched by how you’re helping the Noah’s Lost Ark Animal Sanctuary.. and i really find you an inspiration because of how you can create such magical piece even with all the pain in your hands. it’s really encouraging. i believe anyone who’ve had RSI or is having one will be amazed to see how strong you are. Everyone, please do check out her wonderful drawings!! And do check out her shots and drawings of some of the Big Cats saved by Noah Ark, they’ll sure to blow you away !! So sorry i can only interview 2 person.. i have so many fav artist here on RB and i can only interview 2?! waaaa… T_T i can’t wait to read the interviews of the rest of you!! I think Jo will be coming up with some forum to gather all the wonderful interviews together. that’d be awesome eh? Love you all!!! (= ^ . ^ =)

Design Styles Series - GA Group Challenge Series

In an effort to clarify what Graphic Arts is and to foster creativity in the process I landed on the idea of creating an ongoing challenge series for the Graphic Arts group here on RedBubble. Graphic Arts is notoriously difficult to define – such is the broad scope of it’s uses. But there are some basic threads of commonality, primarily the intention to communicate. Which explains why tertiary studies in the field usually fall under the title of Communications (i.e a Bachelor of Communications). With that in mind, there are several techniques that are characteristic of graphic arts – mostly based around printing techniques (due to the long history of printmaking next to the more recent growth of digital/cyber formats). The graphic arts have also closely tied with current trends and design movements – which is hardly surprising considering that design is the act of creating to fulfill a demand (as opposed to art for arts sake). Designers are constantly looking to their environment, culture, history, current affairs and so on to inform their work. The linear documentation of art history and architecture are prominent in creative studies – whilst that of graphic arts is less well know (perhaps due to it’s mass-production nature, rather than ‘high-art’ identity). But you will find that art, architecture, industrial/product design, jewellery and graphic arts often cross boundaries with each other. So, getting to the point. Over the next several weeks I will be launching challenges with themes focused on prominent design styles. To keep it interesting I won’t be releasing them in linear order – but jumping around instead. I will have links to more information, and also be providing examples of original and contemporary works in the theme. Here are the themes so far: Cubism / Futurism / Bauhaus Cubism Picasso’s Cubist Man with a Hat of 1912 is an early example of collage, which was a logical outgrowth of Analytic Cubism and marked the beginning of the shift to Synthetic Cubism. Pieces of colored paper and newspaper are pasted onto paper to form geometric representations of a head and neck; the remainder of the image is drawn in charcoal. The use of newspaper, which seems textured because of the newsprint, was a common feature of early collages. Words and letters, which are themselves abstract signs, often formed part of the overall design. Collage, like Cubism, involved disassembling aspects of the environment – just as one might take apart a machine, break up a piece of writing, or even divide a single word into letters – and then rearranging (or reassembling) the parts to form a new image. [i] Futurism The [Futurist] Manifesto sought to inspire in the general public an enthusiasm for a new artistic language. In all the arts – the visual arts, music, literature, theatre, and film – and museum would be abolished, and creative energy would be focused on the present and future. Speed, travel, technology, and dynamism would be the subjects of Futurist art. Piet Mondrian painted Broadway Boogie Woogie [while living in New York in the 1940s as a refugee from World War II]. This was one of a series of pictures that he executed in small squares and rectangles of color, which replaced the large rectangles outlined in black. The grid pattern of the New York streets, the flashing lights of Broadway, and the vertical and horizontal motion of cars and pedestrians are conveyed as flat, colorful shapes. [i] Bauhaus The German version of the International Style centered on the Bauhaus. Its aim was to improve the aesthetic quality of manufactured goods and industrial architecture, to produce them more cheaply, and to make them more widely available. [i] The design innovations commonly associated with…Bauhaus [are] the radically simplified forms, the rationality and functionality, and the idea that mass-production was reconcilable with the individual artistic spirit. [ii] [The] foundations for the future development of functional typography at the Bauhaus were laid with poster and typography designs for various events and publications at the school. This included the Bauhaus postcards, which found wide distribution as original graphic miniatures and which, in their combination of typeface and image, were to become an important advertising medium for the Bauhaus. [iii] Art Nouveau – more info + photos Dynamic, undulating, and flowing lines in a syncopated rhythm, are found throughout the architecture, painting, sculpture and other forms of Art Nouveau design. Two-dimensional Art Nouveau pieces were painted, drawn, and printed in popular forms such as advertisements, posters, labels, magazines, and the like. Japanese wood-block prints, with their curved lines, patterned surfaces, contrasting voids, and flatness of visual plane, also inspired Art Nouveau. [iv] Art Deco Art Deco was a popular international design movement from 1925 until 1939, affecting the decorative arts such as architecture, interior design, and industrial design, as well as the visual arts such as fashion, painting, the graphic arts and film. This movement was, in a sense, an amalgam of many different styles and movements of the early 20th century, including Neoclassical, Constructivism, Cubism, Modernism, Bauhaus, Art Nouveau, and Futurism. The bold use of stepped forms and sweeping curves (unlike the sinuous, natural curves of the Art Nouveau), chevron patterns, and the sunburst motif are typical of Art Deco. A resurgence of interest in Art Deco came with graphic design in the 1980s, where its association with film noir and 1930s glamour led to its use in ads for jewelry and fashion [v] Pop Art The imagery of Pop Art was was derived from commercial sources, the mass media, and everyday life…The Pop artists strove for “objectivity” embodied by an imagery of objects. [T]he widespread incorporation of letters and numbers into the new iconography of Pop Art reflects the influence of the newspaper collages produced by Picasso and Braque. [i] Characterized by themes and techniques drawn from popular mass culture, such as advertising, comic books and mundane cultural objects…Characterized by themes and techniques drawn from popular mass culture, such as advertising, comic books and mundane cultural objects. [vi] Andy Warhol’s Campbell’s Soup I (Tomato) of 1968, illustrates his taste for commercial images. The clear precision of his forms and absence of any visible reference to paint texture intensify the confrontation with the object represented – with the object as object. [i] Punk Punk visual art is artwork which often graces punk rock album covers, flyers for punk shows, and punk zines. It is characterised by deliberate violation, such as the use of letters cut out from newspapers and magazines, a device previously associated with kidnap and ransom notes, so the sender’s handwriting was not revealed. Much of the earlier artwork was in black and white, because it was distributed in punk zines reproduced at copy shops, but when colour was used in more expensive productions it was often characterised by being high key, such as the use of fluorescent pink and yellow contrasted with black on the cover of the Sex Pistols’ Never Mind the Bollocks album designed by Jamie Reid. Punk visual art can include anything from* crudely scribbled letters* to shockingly jarring figures drawn with sharp points everywhere. Often images and figures are cut and pasted from magazines to create a scene and the colors are often two tone and deeply contrasting. Hey all, I have been thinking about the concept of a personal artistic style. Mostly I was thinking about the fact that, apart from the fact that I am usually drawn to flowers and nature, I don’t have a style. Is it important in the long run to develop a signature element to one’s work, such as a particular treatment, color, subject, etc.? Many of the very talented people here have very defined styles…when I see it, I know immediately who took it. Do you do this intentionally, or is it a kind of refinement that just naturally comes with time and experience? Right now I feel so overwhelmed by the vast horizon of the world that I feel I could never even begin to consciously pick one kind of thing to portray. I guess it must just develop as an individual develops creative abilities and passions in a certain direction. If that’s the case (I’m guessing it is) then would you say a developed artist WILL have a personal style? And the corollary: must an artist have a personal style to be considered an experienced artist? I’d love to hear your opinions. Thanks for reading, folks!

You can check out my favorites for the link or simply go to Arnold Isbista He’s does the most amazing “Native” Canadian style paintings that are so very unique and pleasing to gaze upon, I just had to let my friends know about it. Anybody can paint! But most are put off by the early errors they make. / At the age of 47, I picked up a brush for the first time. It was an instinctive thing, as I was (and am) crippled with chronic exhaustion and high pain levels. Two years on, I love painting, and don’t care if I make mess of it. Or that I’ll only get a few comments. It’s wonderful therapy. I’m starting a course soon at the local art gallery, which involves analysing the original paintings of the masters. And then incorporating these techniques, into our own modern work. I’ve already done this on most of my paintings in my gallery on redbubble. I’ve used J.W. Turner on my last two, Lindisfarne and Corinth. My earlier watercolours, involved the style of the unknown industrial watercolourist Thomas Harrison Hair, from the early 19th century. And some techniques, by John Singer-Sargent. So much potential for further improvement, or changing style. Just do it! Anybody can paint! The best therapy…painting!

It’s so hard to know whether your paintings are good or getting better! / / Yesterday was my turn again to be ‘on duty’ in the Dutch Australian Cultural Centre. / After we were made to leave our building, in the grounds of the retirement village, we were accommodated behind the Dutch shop, in Smithfield. / The shop is in a factory building and we have a section, behind the furniture ‘department’. / In winter, it can be cold and lonely there, if visitors to Holland House don’t go through the shop, through the restaurant, through the furniture and find us or be interested in finding us. / So, I’ve been taking my paintings, for something to do. / / Yesterday there were quite a few visitors. / They weren’t there for my painting but it was there as a talking-point and, naturally I was interested in their reactions. / There were certainly no Ooooos and Aaaaahs! The two who made positive comments both paint, themselves. They don’t paint themselves. / They’re artists too. / Update: Worked some more on the painting. Believe that the impressionist effect works better in real life than even via this camera.

I’ve always had a problem showing my work because all of my paintings never really had a collective theme or style. I was all over the place, and I never saw anything wrong with that. Every time I had a show people asked me why I didn’t have a series and really, I couldn’t understand why I should. Every time I went to the canvas I was hoping to accomplish something else. I’d tell people that I had no “Style”. I found more excitement and reward in painting whatever crossed my mind. I think now, that I’ve been painting only for me. There’s nothing wrong with painting for yourself, you have to love what you do, but it’s only half of the artists job. While I’m drawing or painting, and up until I’m done; it’s all for me. The experience of making each piece is very personal and offers me certain things in life that I can’t really explain, but that if I didn’t have, would leave me unbalanced and unfulfilled. Unfortunately, I was still unfulfilled because all these pieces tended to stay in my home with me. Once I’m done painting, they’re not mine anymore. My part of the job is done, now the artwork needs to be seen. Artists have very basic purposes in this world. We paint, draw, sculpt, compose music or what have you, and if we intend to or not, these works reflect our times and generally sync up with the rest of the world. We speak for what the people want or are afraid of, what we dream about or how pop culture is changing us. It’s all there in well done artwork. But because I never focussed long enough for a series or a “message”, I was leaving everyone else out of the process, and the other half of the work wasn’t being done. I thought of being in their shoes and going to a show like I use to have, looking at dozens of paintings with no common link. It’s confusing, and like the paintings from each other, I think I’d feel separate from the work. With a series, you feel like you’re part of something somehow. Each pieces helps to tell the overall story in its own way, and by seeing them all there, that you understand what you’re looking at, and then you can take something away from that (whether or not you take one home). We’re not always so easy to understand, but our work is meant to speak for us, and all these years I’ve been making that very difficult on my work. I’ve known in some way that I’ve been lacking in this field with my work, but rather than do something about it, I defended it, saying that it afforded more opportunity not to stick to one style. I don’t think I will stick to one style forever, or one theme, but having a series now, I can see the benefit. It helps tell the story. It gives me a much better chance of having an effect through my art, and without it, I don’t think people were able to connect well with my art or with me as an artist. And it made them have to put more effort in understanding the work, and that’s my job. I’m excited about this series. Each piece tells the story in it’s own way and together, they all help to tell it for me. At the shows I’ve had so far, I’ve explained a lot, and I’ve loved talking about the series with people, but I’ve also noticed that with enough of the pieces next to each other, and with the right presentation, people can find it all out for themselves. That’s the art speaking for itself, and that has been a rarity for me. There are many artists who have always done this and might read this and wonder where the mystery lies with this, but for me, this has been one of my big battles and learning experiences, and this is all new to me. I can finally see the power of a series in telling one story with each little chapter, and I have to say, when it’s up and people are looking at them and talking to me, it’s exciting and rewarding to hear them explain the series to me. When they can tell me what the pieces mean, I feel I’ve done my job well.

A work in progress, the Bunny Bot is my first attempt at Vector Style Art. I have hand styled a figure from one of my photos taken at the Tokyo Anime Fair 2008. She is definitely a labour of love and I thought I would never finish her, but here she is. I am not sure if she is an actual anime character or where she originates from. I would greatly appreciate any help to credit her creators and origins. I have not made her available for sale as a print yet as I am stuck on ideas for a suitable background/ home for her to appear in. If she inspires ideas please share. Robo Bunny Bot is available as a T-shirt print. I thought she could easily stand alone in this format.
