Live love & Dream featured my ‘kiss’ / Art in Math featured ‘never forbidden’ / Yesterday l learn’t what it is to have a Bad Day l needed Panadol just to get my head off the pillow, my beautiful inlaws bought roast lunch fit for a queen. l feel like l’ve been in a shark attack with an internal head on blood cell smash up darby. But not all is lost l vegg’ed in my chair for the beautiful afternoon rain & organised my solo exhibition at the Broadford Gavan Street Hall 6th & 7th of December. l can’t believe l had it all so organised so quickly with wonderful people still offering help & a fantastic venue l’m such a lucky girl in so many ways :-) l gotta get those charity calanders & magazine into action. Saturday Dec 6th will be filled with entertainment, auction, poetry readings, music / $5 adults $3 children / Sunday Gold coin entry day. / Fundraising for helping rural women with Cancer & Mental Wellness of course / well thats it for this sore ol bag / thankyou with sloppy kisses for amazing response to my latest uploads / flipyarealsoon XXXXXXXXXXXX

hello my friends i feel that it is time to inform you on what is going on here… LOL.. and at the same time i would like to apologize to you… to all of you who take the time to look at my art and to leave a comment…. to those who have become dear friends to me. i am terrible right now.. i hardly look at new art.. i might just ‘dash’ into an account….. faving something that caught my attention.. not leaving a message….. just faving and running most of the time. i am very sorry about that and i hope you do not think that i am being rude… as most of you know.. my husband and i were working on renovating a farm.. we were supposed to move in last christmas but things dragged on… and on….. and on….... and on. the owner of the place is a friend… and you might know how it is… you don’t like to push friends… especially not when you know that – like he – they are under constant pressure…. having a very time consuming job.. family.. etc etc. but… things just got stuck.. and since there is no contract – yet – ... we got a little bit fed-up of the situation…... and all of a sudden we were offered to buy a tanya… a most beautiful tanya… actually.. a dream come true.. for less money than the first one.. and no renovation necessary… we can – almost – move in immediately.. the almost… because we need to prepare one stable for our goats.. and one for the chickens… and a couple more fences need to be put up to keep our dogs away from the goats etc. the day before yesterday we were given the keys to the place… and now we are there every day.. working, preparing… there is a wonderful swimmingpool – a blessing in this heat you might think.. well HAHAHA… the previous owners kept fish in it….. carp… and before i put a foot in there.. those carp go out.. so now.. on top of all…. we are FISHING for carp …. HAHAHAHA….... so what i am trying to say is… i am gone the whole day… coming home late in the evning.. exhausted from work… and the heat… so i barely have time to create…... i just answer my emails and then.. that’s it… please forgive me my friends.. i will be back….. but it will take a few days, perhaps even a week or two until things have settled….... i DO see your wonderful art.. and i am doing my best to keep up… thank you all for being there…... and for being so patient!! love, light and peace mimu :)

Yesterday is far away and tomorrow is beyond the horizon. / This is my favor time to browse art of RB. I waited for all week. / Oh, It’s already 1pm. I love to watch “so you think you can dance” if you are not living in US you’ll know what I mean. / When the dancers dance really well, I know they don’t hear the noise from audience or see the lights coming at them from everywhere. All they know is the music and the character they are in. Their body, the music and the character become one. They don’t listen to the music or count the rhythm. Their body moves before they think. They feel the melody, the rhythm, the story and they become the melody, the rhythm and the character. / I wish I can tell you better. I’m not a writer or the dancer. / But I feel empathy with the dancers. / Before, during and after many difficult moment of doing the creative art there is the time all fall in together and become one. My objective, color, contour and emotion, small and large they start to work for me. The time stops in that moment. In this moment nothing else is matter but me and the painting in the world. My mother used to sew Kimono. / One spring day I was watching she is sewing. The silver thread slide through silk fabric as if it has the life of it’s own. She said to me, / ” you had to sew the thread like its become part of the fabric.”

Well – waddaya know???!!! Seems that even in the midst of family squabbles and all, people here on RB still remember the primary reason why we are all here – ART! That is so so cool!!! And – guess how i can tell – you never will, cos it’s blown me right away too!!!!! I JUST noticed that I struck a personal record in the past 24 (approx) hours – in that I scored (without a current home page or even red bubble feature to boost things along lol) OVER 1000 views on my ART since some time last night!!!!! Now – THAT is a REAL boost on my overall average no of views, I think….. And – to top all that off – this staggering over 1000 views in this short space of time has taken the total no of views of my work over the 30 000 mark!!! In JUST over 9 months!!! See???? We ARE really all here because of – and about – ART ;))) Kallena xx
