Sales of this Design? – 3 sales so far :) / ‘Inspirational Series’ card by Karin Taylor Nancy, Patsy, Ellen and Red Dog is a mixed media production. I used ink, pastel, acrylic and charcoal on canvas textured paper. The original painting was just auctioned for charity recently. This work was also inspired by the _‘Legend of Red Dog aka The Pilbara Wanderer’, as is ‘Where is Red Dog’. Red Dog was an adventurous dog who seemed to belong to an entire community. / When his soulmate John died, Red Dog searched for him for the rest of his days, that’s loyalty for you! This painting depicts the time Red Dog’s search for John took him all the way from the dusty outback to Cottesloe Beach, with the girls from his hometown hot on his tail…... If you look closely you can see the tips of Red Dog’s ears way out past the breakers!

Beautiful Pa’ako Beach, Makena Cove near Alanui Road Makena Maui Hawai’i. Copyright © Sharon Mau 2009 / All Rights Reserved This is a part of the last pristine and very beautiful undeveloped coastline on Maui. Please help us preserve and protect Makena. The magnificent Humpback Whales frequent this area during winter months on their annual migration from Alaska to Hawaiian waters for calving and breeding and come quite close to shore during season. The beautiful and sacred Honu, sea turtles may be seen feeding in the early morning light. The beautiful and secluded Po’olenalena Beach is nearby as well. There are many names to describe this beautiful secluded beach east of Makena on Alanui Road bordered by lava rocks and palm trees. You may notice Oneloa, also well known as Big Beach, in the distance. The hill is called Pu’u Olai, a red cinder cone 360 feet high. The wave action is extraordinary and the golden sand is deep and luxurious. There is a large tide pool on the right of the beach which is wonderful for swimming. A favourite among the locals for fishing and enjoyed by many families with children, scuba divers and snorkelers, there are wonderful views of Molokini and Kaho`olawe Island. It reconnected me with my passion for composing music and it feels good to express myself in this new, multi-media format. It is so personal. From the deepest depths of my heart and soul to yours…. Black and White Emotions Desperation leads to inspiration… / I wanted to create a video, all i had was Windows Movie Maker. I was determined to make that program work for me! LOL For the music i had a digital voice recorder, a 5 Octave electronic keyboard and some sound effects. Mixed it using my Windows Sound Recorder. That was a l little tricky, lol, but i made it work!
