Next time i buy a present for anyone i will first refer to my fav’s list and no doubt come up with a beautiful, funny, meaningful, interesting, unique gift. Its going to be printed t’s and matching card for any child. It might get the ball rolling – get the word out and promote all the great work done by the redbubbler’s!!!!! Just think i’ll never have to visit a shop again…AMEN!

This is a painting of a friend of a friend. I was asked to paint her portrait on a skateboard for her 21st. The original deck was a blind blank skateboard. This is the first painting on a skateboard i’ve done that wasn’t actually ridden by me. Acrylic, Ink, Spraypaint on a skateboard – 2008

I came up with the idea…that tiny things are just as important as big things…. / a tiny heart gifts as much life as a huge heart / a tiny tree gives us air to breathe / a tiny star provides light to guide us….. It matters not that things are small, or have small beginnings, they are still worthwhile, as worthwhile as the big things, and as it says in the song / from little things big things grow / / /

When I asked m friend what she liked she replied “mmm favourite thing in life….i like amelie…DINOSAURS… err. GREEN. um. The doors to this barn, a lonely outpost on the windswept fens of Cambridgeshie have been forced open. Who or what did it? Was it someone or something? The wind perhaps? Whatever it was, it gifted me with a pleasing abstract. Canon 10D / 1/8th second at f22 (what WAS I thinking of???) / 15-30mm lens at 15mm / ISO200 Post processing: / Not much, really – minor curves and saturation adjustments, subtle lens vignetting.
