These rose petals were left on the bed of a place that we stayed at in Maleny, Queensland, Australia. This was taken with a Canon DSLR EOS 350D camera and a 18-55m lens.

Taken with a Canon EOS 450D. These roses were growing wild in my garden, and just seemed the perfect subject for my first still life HDR. 3 different exposures, all 2 stops apart were shot in RAW, and then processed in Photomatix. Extra layers were added and tweaked in GIMP.

I simply work intuitively and slowly with all the values, and am happy when I am close enough -and sometimes right on ;) – to the shape I want to obtain. / I like to create realistic shapes, at least trying to ! lol done with all parts done in Sinedots and Paint Shop Pro was used additionally on the flower (petals part) / . /
