This is one of four geishas I have made. I love the crisp, clean and formal look of Japanese art. I had fun choosing the moire fabric for the jet black straight hair, the colorful fabrics for the kimono and the grey background with the trailing flowers. / What I have observed from the traditional Japanese culture is; every aspect of their lives evolves around design, beauty and tranquility. The presentation of themselves, their home, outside environment, their foods and movements are intentional.

/ in the Welcome to Utah group October 2009 This sweet dog’s owner allowed me to take this picture! The dog was so cute in the neckerchief. They were waiting for their turn on the course The last day of Farmer’s Market here in Ogden, Utah they had a obstacle course set up for dogs. They had a ball with a tail on it that they would set going for the dogs to follow and chase through the course. It was fun to watch….. each dog reacted a little differently to the challenge, but owner and dog alike looked like they were having fun.
