So there I was, just out for a walk along the beach at sunset. The explosive thermo-nuclear sunset to the west was begging for my attention, but to the east was this little black cloud, hoping to slip by un-noticed and join in all the sunset fun with the other clouds. I caught him in no man’s land, with nowhere to hide. I let rip with a 12 megapixel onslaught, and the rest is history. This image is brand new and will be removed when the quota is reached. In other words: it’s a limited edition. Crops and resizes by request. For more, see my portfolio. Ta.

Acrylic on 6×9 Painting Board I have never painted before. I mean, of course I did stuff when I was a kid, but I haven’t picked up a brush since. I’m so happy with this piece. It sort of signifies my acceptance with what is to come. Today was the worst day of my art career. I pretty much had the biggest breakdown since I started. But this peice helped me through as did so many of you wonderful members. You guys truely are gems. At some point tonight I’m gonna thank each one that responded to my journals individually. Art = Blood, Sweat and tears it seems. And thanks to you guys and your words I feel as if I’m up for the challenge. So enjoy this. Starlight.

I’ve wanted to do something with this for a long time…... / but now that I’m preparing to move interstate there’s so much to do, so much to organize, so little time…... / I feel I can relate to this somewhat…... it’s so nice to be able to vent a little…... release a little tension. However, I DO NOT condone shooting in built up areas…... just so we’re clear….. [canon 1000D, canon 75-300mm lens, Focal Length : 100mm, F/5.6, edited in ACR, redynamix, photoshop]

Influence of nature. Graceful curves. The wispy lines resambles branches and leaf motif on this piece. Enjoy it!
