[New Edited version] I have Donated to Philadelphia Mission Charity. All proceeds from sales of my art goes to help extreme poor, sick and often forgotten people in isolated and remove villages in Africa. Wounded deep by harsh cruel words, / And falsely accused by those whom he loved, / Beaten and bruised, stripped naked and mocked, / Tears mingled with blood now covered his face. Hate filled hearts tied him to a post, / His back like a field that has just been plowed, / From furrows deep blood flowed to then ground, / With a heart filled with love he endured the pain. Hands that healed and often clasped in prayer, / Feet that carried a message of love, / Both now nailed to a cruel cross, guiltless one now waiting / To die. Crowds stood and watched as he cried out to God, / Father forgives them! Forgive them he cried, / The price was paid he bowed his head and died. Forgive them father was his plea, / As he paid the price for you and me, / Our sins washed away and pardon secured, / Forgive one and other as he forgave you. The site is intended to serve as a beacon of hope to the 50,000 travelers estimated to pass the site each day. I took this when I was opening an orphanage in Guntapelle in remote India. 2006. We taught them in Sunday school to read in their own language From the bible. For three years previous, We not only evangelised the village, but reached out to the extreme poor and needy with tools and church activities. This scene was from our opening day when we took in 25 orphans. God is awesome friends and he loves all people, not matter who they are. I am new to Layers and this is my second effort. Rickets in developed countries is almost eradicated. But not here in Africa. In Ungwa/fadda Village, remote Nigeria, there are 15 children out of 47 disabled by Rickets. In the surrounding villages other children are crippled by the disease. Rickets is caused mainly by Lack of Vitamin D, which mainly comes from the Sun. But because of lack of good food, their immune systems are very weak and the body cannot absorb what they need. Lack of food is also another major cause. It is my great love and compassion to help as many children in these remote villages as I and the small Charity I founded and Run can, We need your help to eradicate this disease and its causes forever. We are raising funds to purchase a tractor, fertilizers, Tools and seed, so the villages in this area can grow good quality food. Please help us to bless these children. It is the Monument to Women Memorial Garden The garden consists of a central sculpture of a woman, and the garden is enhanced by 12 life-sized figures expressing the widely varied nature of women’s vital role in society. The display may well be the largest commissioned display of sculpture in the world dedicated to women / of the past, present, and future.
