The storms were fierce with a ton of rain last night. I decided to take of work and spend the day at the falls near my house. I must have snapped 200 pictures today. What a great day!! / I wouldn’t like to feed the photographers for which this photo is the plain and simple truth. Another instalment in my Nostalgia series although a little different then usual in the set-up. It’s a lot simpler a composition then most of my work, but let me assure you, it was so much harder to get right! Shot with my relatively new Pentax K10D and a very old Pentax-A 1:1.7 50mm objective. You can read all about the technique used in this tutorial more work / the calendar / preview / “Forgotten” was sold as a Medium mounted print to an anonymous buyer. Thank you! “Forgotten” is also freely downloadable as a wallpaper to decorate your desktop.

1015 views as of Dec 8, 2009 / / I was down at Okanagan beach this afternoon taking some photographs when I noticed the reflection of some tree tops with the light shining through them in this puddle. Thought it looked almost like the leaves in the puddle were falling onto the trees…..seemed kind of magical to me :)

This photogenic mermaid was my attempt to improve my art skills in between projects. What that really means is, I was out of work and I got to do something all for myself.
