Canon Powershot with IR filter “As Is” / Brandywine Falls Ohio / —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-— / I have been waiting for this kind of shot for a long time. The storms were fierce with a ton of rain last night. I decided to take of work and spend the day at the falls near my house. I must have snapped 200 pictures today. What a great day!! I found a new toy its my infrared lens. I was off to take some photographs of some waterfalls in the Breacon Beacons in Wales when I almost missed this scene. Had there not been a break in the cloud I may have missed it. It was probably the best drive by shooting photograph I have to date. I’ve had a little play in photoshop and thought I’d post the results. / The original was shot using a Canon 5D, 24-70mm at 27mm, f/8, 1/60 sec, ISO 400. No filters used and mounted on the car door. I then upped the exposure in photoshop with a layered PS approach and added some crows for effect. I hope you like it. © Copyright 2009 David Reid – redtree.me – All rights reserved.

There are all the colours of the rainbow in this piece, to remind us that there is always hope, no matter how hopeless it seems sometimes. The rainbow is a sign of hope. Children See/Children Do powerful message for grownups I hope that all the children who look at this painting will drift off into a faraway place in their imagination and feel wonderful for a while, especially if things are getting them down…and if life is wonderful, may this little picture add to the wonder and spark the imagination. Big hello to Maya!! :)
