This beautiful Fallopia from my garden, was the inspiration for my collage transfer, “Spring Awakening”, seen below…I take photos to keep a record of the blooms in my garden and do not consider myself anything but an amateur….later on there will be white flowers on the branches, but in Spring the leaves and red stems are simply magnificent “The wood is decked in light green leaf. / The swallow twitters in delight. / The lonely vine sheds joyous tears / Of interwoven dew and light.
