This is part of a series that I am working on. Called morning noon and evening. My thought is to have the same background image in 3 variations showing how one place can evolve and change moods. I have reasently created a second image / / Noon

I originally intended this shot to be a picture of my son holding onto these balloons and taking off, floating into up into the sky … a fantasy, sotybook sort of image. However, my daughter immediately grabbed these balloons from him and started running off. So, as it turned out this eded up having a more realistic look than the one I originally intended, but I thought it turned out pretty cute with the desaturated colors throughout, except for the colorful balloons.

She hates photos, hates the camera…so i was stoked when she agreed to go with us. So, we spent the afternoon @ different locations just taking different shots of her and her sisters..I now have over 100 images of her from today on my computer…The only other recent photos i have are her school photos, / She lives with my mother-her grandmother, and has done since she was approx 4 years old.. She lives just around the corner but we really don’t see her that much :( / She is a teenager, and is growing up and im sad to say i miss her. Thankyou Mika for making today extra special to me..it will be a day i remember for a long time, and now i have some images to go with the memories. For me summer holiday memories are all about bare feet, the sea, the smell of aerogard and barbeques, and long days and warm nights often spent in a caravan park by the ocean. This piece is about all of that, but I also wanted to infuse it with a bit of darkness and mystery …Holiday villages are so full of life and colourful characters by day, but at night when all have gone to bed and secured their temporary little homes, they can be quite strange and creepy…
