  • Beautiful mind All her life she has used cloaked robes / never standing sideways in a light / she is so selfconcious of her nose Many a handsome man has passed her by / never hearing her utter a sigh / never passing the time of day / Why oh why can t they try she sometimes cries herself to sleep / she has such a gentle heart / is kind to the core / oh but life she thinks is so much more She feels that because of her nose / she can t get to know the people she admires / so she sits indoors and creates such art / with her cat by her side / they both drink milk and eat a tart The fire warming them both / she tries not to cry, but knows that she hides / away from the madding crowd / going only out covered in her shroud

  • Lyrics from the song Lady Greengrass by Tangerine Dream. / “Puff, the trees turn tangerine / Her eyes breathe in a state of mind / She’s beginning to fly / She’s beginning to fly” I see freedom, and liberation in this image – others may see desolation – thats fine too. / Pic of bare deciduous branches layered with lone flying gull, moon and colourised layer. • This is a bit of a story but do bear with me. Whilst sending a fax (which never went through) to my dear friend, i discovered some of my mom’s old photo’s of her and her friends in a field near our house. I am an old photo addict and i just love the tones that these old photo’s had. So now i have them stored for my own use. The lady in these pictures is one of my mom’s dear friends from university and they are simply beautiful photo’s. So i decided, why not peg them up on a washing line with a song. So i searched for a song involving the title “sky”. and this is what came up… Sky Signal – Audible. / We will look for you / From down here / Up into the airwaves / Where you have gone / A crowd of broken sons / And daughters / Listen to confessions / Of what you’ve done / A signal in the sky / Or something / To help explain the thing / That you’ve become / We will look for you / From down here / Up into the airwaves / Where you have gone / Wherever you belong / Wherever you belong / Wherever you belong / Wherever you belong / It is quite a sad song but a beautiful one with very appropriate lyrics… The idea came from a artwork by Luis Mariano González which i mistook for things on a line but was actually a plant! haha! so i decided why not me do it! so i did… more to come..
