That’s right the artist spends everyday struggling with art, trying to make something worthwhile, then on a night out meets the un-cultured person who has a dark and possibly psychotic attitude to artists. Not your average moron this time, but a partial physicist no less. One however that cannot handle the fact I do not care about monetary wealth but care more for art. He decides to spend an hour insulting me in an attempt to rile me to aggression. sure I eventually decide, I do not like him much and insult him back and state that I believe my art is at least as important as his science he eventually looses his cool and punches me full in the face. I take it. I’m a large guy, 6’ 3” and know from experience I can hurt people if i fight back, So i just take the punch and stand my ground. He though throws another and I take that one too, but still do not move or even react. By now the night club I’m in people decide to join my side, as I am evidently not the aggressor and many of them know me. and he’s kicked out. I haven’t faced this level of aggression since my early twenties and then i may have bothered throwing a punch back, but I’m older and wiser and feel my calm response is a growth and strength. And maybe it even proves art and culture is better than science and money :) I at least get to paint naked ladies and create things people will treasure and he gets to look for invisible partials that could destroy the world. I know which I think is the better life and more worthwhile, and don’t need to hti people to find prove it.

Hi this i’ve put down here as i know there are sevral others out there in Redbubble Land who are also fighting this illness. Fibromialga effects us all in different ways and the longer it takes to be diagnosed the more of you it seems to effect. And i’m not a Doctor but thats how it seems to me. / Its been Seven years since the diagnosis but i was ill before then with what my GP told me was M,E but M,E is suppose to be pain free. And So i had to wait untill that Gp was on holiday as soon as i sore the locum the ball got rolling and the diagnoses came pretty quick. So be prepared you may have to be proactive to get a meaningful diagnoses. / Back before my illness i had worked with what was called the CHC and we all had this mantra that i’m going to share with you as its held me in good sted. “75% of doctor’s will anwser to God whilst the other 25% belive they are God” / And fibromialga can be a struggel i know its effected me in so many ways when i pick up my meds from the chemist i leave with a carryer bag. Currentley its realy effecting me. holding a conversation is diffecult as the words get jumbeled and my legs gave way the other day as i did a bit to much and spent an hour lieing on the kitchen floor whilst my cats asked for there dinner. but todays a new day and i’ve got another image started and every picture i produce helps me show others as well as myself that this illness maybe a pain in the bum, but you dont have to give into it, i hope this helps and remember those 25% that belive they are God still have to anwser to us. love and light Cherrie

I am honored to have my newest design The Journey and the Battle featured on the Home Page today. It’s a piece I am very excited about or rather that I’m passionate about. There is a battle for all of us and this design is a reminder to me to keep going, keep fighting and keep standing up for what is right. Also in this work the knight may be surrounded by fire but he is not harmed by it. Sometimes things seam more overwhelming than they really are at first glance but it is never worth giving up the fight for what is right…Truth, Justice and Freedom. I just found out that my poem Night Tiger and my new pastel picture Sunset Tiger has been made a double feature by the fabulous Tiger Tiger group. / / / Many many thanks you guys, a triple feature, wow i am delighted to have all three pieces featured, i am in total shock and walking on air, dawnxxx I do so worry about their lack of numbers on this planet belonging to us all, dawnxx Tiger’s with your eyes so bright, / They can see well into the night, / What do they do before the light, / Dont be there, they’ll give you a fright. Tiger’s with their story to be told, / What makes thier stance so very bold, / They took the land, they tried to hold, / To them this land is worth more than gold. Tiger’s with such golden hair, / What would we do without you there, / Stories could be told of your tiger’s lair, / We want your history to always be there. Tiger’s so fast, please dont blink, / These wonder’s of god are on the brink, / We dont want humanity to loose this link, / For then us humans would really stink.
