Blossom’s_Photo_Gallery Chilli Beach, Cape York Peninsula, Far North Queensland. Chilli Beach is wide and long and fringed with palms – a truly magical spot overlooking Restoration Island, Capt Bligh’s first landing place in 1792. They might say the best time to visit the Cape is May through to October, but I can imagine that the roads would be in very poor condition by August. When we went in May they were just grading the roads preparing for the onset on tourists that visit the Cape. 4WD vehicles only!! Be prepared for corrugations and slow down on those corners – you just might come across a family of wild pigs as we did, luckily we weren’t going fast!! 100% of proceeds received from Redbubble in respect to sales of “Chilli Beach” will be donated to “thegreataustraliancancerbushwalk” for the Cancer Council. Remember the Meaning – Christmas Card & Fine Art Print / Christmas Prints / Greeting Card Gallery This image is actually a design I created and handpainted with acrylics on masonite a few years ago. I did a few prints up for family Christmas gifts and included matching greeting cards. I never did sell the original (couldn’t part with it) and hang it on my wall every Christmas. Santa’s eyes look like a young childs as the inspiration came from my son. The white doves have a spiritual meaning & symbolize how I view Christmas and how I think it should be…to Remember the True Meaning and what this special holiday is all about. Sarah…since the day you asked me to create your dream request of your sweet Axel…was the day I felt like Axel stepped into my heart. I’ve never put so much passion into one image in my life. And to explain in more detail…it takes me some time to create a new image…but when I created this of your boy…everything came to me like 2nd nature. I really and truly feel in my heart, that a little helper was at my side when I made this. I wanted to tell you this when I first created it for you…but knew how emotional the times were…so with that…I am once again honored to share the spirit of Axel! Many of you will remember, and some of you may be new to the news of Sarah Moore’s little boy Axel. Please read below. Sad news …This is Rosalie, Sarah’s mum writing on Sarah’s behalf. / Locals may have heard already on the news of the drowning of a 15mth old in the northwest of Sydney. This is Axel, Sarah and Glen’s little son. / As you can imagine everyone is devestated. One never expects it to happen in your own family … / Please feel free to leave messages here if you feel so moved – they are rather overwhelmed with calls and all the due processes right now but do appreciate the care that their friends are offering. / Feel free to bubblemail me directly (RosalieDale) if you have any questions or any direct messages – I’ll check in a couple of times a day just to check for mail. / Thank you all … / Rosalie Sarah’s Heart Felt Thanks / I finally have a few minutes to catch my breath and thank all of you from the bottom of my heart for your thoughts, prayers and incredible generosity. The Redbubble community have been amazing and all my family and friend have commented on the love and support demonstrated by you all. / I thought as so many of you couldn’t be with us at the funeral to celebrate Axel’s life, that I would put the transcript here along with some pictures. / There were over 300 people at the funeral from all over Australia.
