‘Asia Series’ card by Karin Taylor A more serious piece this time. A painting inspired by the art form of the Geisha. Her discipline and strength I admire. I have used ink, acrylic, charcoal and pastels to create Geisha Girl. The original painting is no longer available, but so glad she can come to you in the form of a greeting card. / ’’Asian Series’ card by Karin Taylor This is one of my favourite pieces in the oriental series. / Two little friends falling asleep in their little boats whilst fishing for their supper. / I really enjoyed mixing the colours for this painting, I used colour swatches from paint charts to decide on the colour scheme, and just went to work intuitively mixing til I got the right colours…they are grungier than my other pics and I love the effect…hope you like them too :D

/ Shoes available at Zazzle Little ‘Asia Blue’ is from an original painting by Karin Taylor. She goes great with a pair of faded Levis. I have her on a black tshirt under the name ‘Little Kimino Blue’ but she isn’t actually wearing a kimono, although she wears an obi…...Asia Blue is wearing a mixed costume, half chinese half japanese…...so I will just call her ‘Asia Blue’ for ease ….as there has been quite a bit of confusion over this :) I wanted to have ‘Asia Blue’ on other coloured tshirts, as well as the black, so here she is, more coming soon !
