Just one sheet makes a big difference; / One sheet that can make over 2000 cranes. / Each crane a step closer to a better world; / Each piece a step closer to peace. Each square in the grid paper is 5×5mm; and to be exact, there were 2028 full squares in the paper When I was in grade 5 our teacher read “Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes” to our class. Sadako Sasaki was infected with leukemia. She spent her days folding cranes and making wishes upon them; wishing for her health and for a more peaceful world (the quote above is my writing inspired by the story of the thousand paper cranes). I had difficulty photographing this; and am not fully satisfied with the end result, but I suppose this is the best I can do with my camera (I’m satisfied with the origami though!) I hope everyone likes the idea anyhow. For me it’s always more about the origami than the photography skills. This piece has been included among RB’s featured pages, and in the following groups: / Inspired Art / _Winner of The Challenge For a better idea of scale: / / More Sample Origami:

The traditional classic chinese word “ai” (love) consist of the word “xing” (heart) at its core. “Ai Xing” in mandarin means “loving heart”. I have simply highlighted the core word “xing” in red to show the meaning of loving heart. “While some simplified characters were adopted from conventional abbreviated forms that have existed for a long time, the vast majority of the changes made by PRC were “unnatural” such as the removal of the symbol for heart (心) from the word love (愛) into the new character (爱).” (Wikipedia) This word is hand-written by me (using a wacom pen & tablet). All profits from the sale of this t-shirt will go towards these 3 non-profit organisations which I have been supporting: I am currently sponsoring a little girl from India so the money collected from the sale of this tee will go towards this fund or other non-profit organisations which I support. HARALDGICK Haralds image UnitedTogether After viewing haralds image it struck me how people create images that have a similar theme even though they have never met this was a photograph given to me by a friend chris o’brian to play around with ages ago
Gather what you will from this.. but yes, I did intend for this to look like magical sperm. Haha, it just sort of happened when I was staring at a light bulb and noticed the little spring inside… so I knew I had to do something with that. :D
“Calendars and clocks exist to measure time, but that signifies little because we all know that an hour can seem as eternity or pass in a flash, according to how we spend it.” / Michael Ende “Clocks slay time… time is dead as long as it is being clicked off by little wheels; only when the clock stops does time come to life.” / William Faulkner
This is a print of the original piece entitled “I will wait for you here” / It was hand drawn with ink and digitally altered with color and texture. The background is old fabric that was scanned and copied into the print. I absolutely adore this piece. It shoots me right back to fifth grade when my best friend had her dad build us a swing in the woods. I used to swing for hours looking up at the birds…and wait. Im not sure what I was waiting for back then…but it didnt matter, I was happiest there. This print is available for purchase as cards that you can mail to someone you adore (Or more likely, keep for yourself and frame!) and a few prints. Black and white pencil sketch of a sweet white rabbit set against a blue textured background. A great card or gift for Easter or for lovers of rabbits and fluffy white bunnies! Featured on the RB Home Page.
Experiment with metallic blue paper and using my flash…
Don’t eat them… haha…. This is growing in my front yard, but I have no idea what kind of tree it is. It has pretty blossoms in the spring though. Enjoy!
Third in the series… three drops.. nothing too special. I shall explain the crazy set-up for this one… I had the tiny green spring (which was strung with seed beads) resting on a CD with a shiny gift bow as the background. I used a syringe to place the water drops and used my flash as well. Haha, it makes sense to me! Enjoy!
Norway, the most beautiful country in the world – or so I personally think. Endlessly inspiring, every view mesmerising, I love it. I have tried to emphasise the ever-present tranquility by focusing on this pile of stones, quite a common site in western norway incidentaly. / I hope you like it!
You know the grips in a water bottle… well that’s what this is. I took the aquafina label off, and put some colorful wrapping paper behind it. There was a few bubbles in the water, which looked cool with the texture of the bottle. It looks like a droplet continuously dropping into a puddle to me…haha. Enjoy! I used my 105mm macro lens for this.

You think your life is odd… You have 4 seemingly stable dimentions / to go about your shopping in… Based on sketches for a Childrens (+ adult childrens) book I am working on. Created from many pen doodles on reverse side of junk recycled band pamphlets (Snow Patrol – YAWN) from my old job… scanned in and some good old photoshopin’ Enjoy trying to find all the little secrets, enjoy watching your friends scratch there academic heads at this one… Makes M C Escher look like an accountant :P Peace skateboard? /
This was an experiment with objects and how light bounces off of them. I found this spring and put a few seed beads on it which gave off a weird bokeh effect when placed on a CD. I used my sigma macro lens and the flash on my camera… More experimenting to come though! Enjoy!
The fractal was created with Apophysis then inserted into Photoshop and played with.. The time consuming part was deleting some parts of it so that a defined shape would be created in to the final product

I was washing dishes one day, when I noticed a tiny bubble land on the mum plant in my plant window… I had only enough time to dry my hands, run to get my camera and take 5 shots, haha.
I did this for a JPGmag.com photo challenge and the more I stare at the more I like it…. I could never think of a good title so if you have any suggestions, feel free to tell me. I put the egg on some Plexiglas and placed it outside, then set my white balance to tungsten for the bluish tone. It was an odd experiment…. haha
