This is a print of the original piece entitled “I will wait for you here” / It was hand drawn with ink and digitally altered with color and texture. The background is old fabric that was scanned and copied into the print. I absolutely adore this piece. It shoots me right back to fifth grade when my best friend had her dad build us a swing in the woods. I used to swing for hours looking up at the birds…and wait. Im not sure what I was waiting for back then…but it didnt matter, I was happiest there. This print is available for purchase as cards that you can mail to someone you adore (Or more likely, keep for yourself and frame!) and a few prints. Colour pencils are my favourite subject to shoot … specially because they are so vibrant ! :)
Norway, the most beautiful country in the world – or so I personally think. Endlessly inspiring, every view mesmerising, I love it. I have tried to emphasise the ever-present tranquility by focusing on this pile of stones, quite a common site in western norway incidentaly. / I hope you like it!
Experiment with metallic blue paper and using my flash…
Gather what you will from this.. but yes, I did intend for this to look like magical sperm. Haha, it just sort of happened when I was staring at a light bulb and noticed the little spring inside… so I knew I had to do something with that. :D
The traditional classic chinese word “ai” (love) consist of the word “xing” (heart) at its core. “Ai Xing” in mandarin means “loving heart”. I have simply highlighted the core word “xing” in red to show the meaning of loving heart. “While some simplified characters were adopted from conventional abbreviated forms that have existed for a long time, the vast majority of the changes made by PRC were “unnatural” such as the removal of the symbol for heart (心) from the word love (愛) into the new character (爱).” (Wikipedia) This word is hand-written by me (using a wacom pen & tablet). This t-shirt design is currently only available from RB. All profits from the sale of this t-shirt will go towards these 3 non-profit organisations which I have been supporting: I am currently sponsoring a little girl from India so the money collected from the sale of this tee will go towards this fund or other non-profit organisations which I support. I was washing dishes one day, when I noticed a tiny bubble land on the mum plant in my plant window… I had only enough time to dry my hands, run to get my camera and take 5 shots, haha.
Don’t eat them… haha…. This is growing in my front yard, but I have no idea what kind of tree it is. It has pretty blossoms in the spring though. Enjoy!
“Calendars and clocks exist to measure time, but that signifies little because we all know that an hour can seem as eternity or pass in a flash, according to how we spend it.” / Michael Ende “Clocks slay time… time is dead as long as it is being clicked off by little wheels; only when the clock stops does time come to life.” / William Faulkner
You know the grips in a water bottle… well that’s what this is. I took the aquafina label off, and put some colorful wrapping paper behind it. There was a few bubbles in the water, which looked cool with the texture of the bottle. It looks like a droplet continuously dropping into a puddle to me…haha. Enjoy! I used my 105mm macro lens for this.
You think your life is odd… You have 4 seemingly stable dimentions / to go about your shopping in… Based on sketches for a Childrens (+ adult childrens) book I am working on. Created from many pen doodles on reverse side of junk recycled band pamphlets (Snow Patrol – YAWN) from my old job… scanned in and some good old photoshopin’ Enjoy trying to find all the little secrets, enjoy watching your friends scratch there academic heads at this one… Makes M C Escher look like an accountant :P Peace skateboard? /
This was an experiment with objects and how light bounces off of them. I found this spring and put a few seed beads on it which gave off a weird bokeh effect when placed on a CD. I used my sigma macro lens and the flash on my camera… More experimenting to come though! Enjoy!
HARALDGICK Haralds image UnitedTogether After viewing haralds image it struck me how people create images that have a similar theme even though they have never met this was a photograph given to me by a friend chris o’brian to play around with ages ago
Third in the series… three drops.. nothing too special. I shall explain the crazy set-up for this one… I had the tiny green spring (which was strung with seed beads) resting on a CD with a shiny gift bow as the background. I used a syringe to place the water drops and used my flash as well. Haha, it makes sense to me! Enjoy!

2008, Acrylic on Canvas, 24” x 18” Leonardo DaVinci must have been quite the character to have at a dinner party. I’m sure his conversations sparked some rather awkward moments as well, simply because his way of thinking was different than that of the general population. Hmmm… maybe a case of Aspergers Syndrome? Some would probably call him “weird”; others “genius”. Either way, he was one of the most influential people in history. And his most famous work, The Vitruvian Man, is in essence a measuring tool for the human form. Applied to sheep, it sets a standard of proportions and silliness, which is why Baaa Vinci is the painting which begins by Sheep Incognito book. I used earthy, old-world colors to give it the aged feel of antique paper. My favorite part is the the paunchy belly of this guy – quite contrary to the old fashioned, six-pack that DaVinci’s guy had. Meet the new beauty standard. I’ve been asked what the writing at the top of the painting means. Well, in true sheep manner they’ve followed the master and wrote Baaah, baaah, baaah maaah, maaah baaahbabamah, baaamaaah, in mirrored writing there…. It must be something about the hidden agenda of Sheep Incognito.
I am getting alot of questions about the rendering time of Incendia! It’s important to know it’s never done so don’t wait for it to finish, you have to stop and check for the detail regularly and save it when you are satisfied with the amount of detail showing! Here’s a little collage, a detail of a very large file, rendered in Incendia 1.3 the first is after a couple hours of rendering, the second after a day, the third after two days and the fourth after three days, as you can see the detail gets more clear all the time. Hope this helps a bit! The new Incendia 1.3 is now available to the public, please check it out and give it a try and if you like it make a donation to get the HighRez version, you won’t regret it, it is BRILLIANT!! Wishing you all a fabulous and creative week! KUS! daisy~’*-
