Water colour.
About the painting: I started to paint this one in 2001 and then became pregnant. The colours got brighter and brighter as I anticipated the birth of my first born and got excited. The joy and happiness can be felt from the radiant and rich colour palette, which I chose subconsciously. I finished the piece in 2002 just days before I gave birth. I really love this one and it hangs proudly in my daughter’s room, the one who inspired me from within. Dimensions: 47” x 41” (119.5×104 cm) on a studio stretched canvas, painted free sides. Choice of my colour palette: I used all the primary and complimentary colours in all directions, which balances the entire painting. The result became a playful and enchanted lizard dance. I’ve been on a mission to conquer the abstract-a true measure of an artist, I think, as there is no ‘reality’ to compare it too, no likeness to draw close to. Just you. You decide to continue, or when to stop. When to use the ‘f’ word-as we used to tease our sculpture teacher>there is no such thing as ‘finished’. I think there is. the energy passes-it’s time-if you go over, it become overworked and pushed, forced. And therein lies the art.
Enjoy!! _
Another self portrait, not so plain this time, i wanted to try something different again, so i painted on some makeup, played around in photoshop with the shots and this is one of my favorites :o)

Computer Painting ( Painter & PS) What points out Computer Painting is the use of brushes, spatulas, etc… without filters or effects, and that the art is made totally freehand on blank canvas or working on a previous image. / . / . / . / . / . / . / . / featured in Digital Abstracts & Patterns – August 2009 / . / . / . / . / . / . / . / Touched By An Angel I remember your radiant beauty when we walked hand in hand under the shinning moonlight on a cool summers night… I remember the days when only you could comfort my spirit… I remember our souls joined as one, your touch as no other, your kindness and healing ways, the love you always gave… I remember the happiness you always filled my heart with, and the times you where there when I needed you most… I remember the laughter, the sadness, the tears, and the joy.
