Binoculars looking across the Manhattan skyline
Originally a photo from my recent trip overseas but this has gone further then my usual photography and is more of an artwork. I really like what I’ve achieved and its thanks to the Redbubble community encouraging me to try new styles and be adventurous. So thank you, and please let me know if this is a style worth progressing. All money raised in the sale of my art until November goes towards the Steven T. Hill Stroke Foundation. For more information on the foundation and Steve’s touching story please follow this link. here Steven T. Hill Stroke Foundation

A lone diner at an exclusive restaurant, captured on New York’s Central Park South. Nominated by the brilliant and gracious photographer Nick Board for Red Bubble’s Pay It Forward Group, who wrote, “Judith chronicles brilliantly, the life and times of New York City, mainly in Black and White, but my absolute favourite has to be, “Reservation for One”. In my eyes this is a masterpiece, trully evocative, and to me, captures isolation in the big city, just as memorably as Hopper did in the “jazz age”.“ Featured / Pay It Forward TWICE A HOME PAGE FEATURE SOLD Copyright

I must admit Impressionism has always been my favorite art movement and Van Gogh a talent unmatched. I also must admit that this piece was strongly influenced by Van Gogh’s masterful Starry Night. / / zazzle / zazzle

Original in private collection Watercolor on Arches 140# Hot Press paper. 18”W x 19 1/2”H This is an interpretation of a busy street scene on a rainy day in Chicago based upon a photo I took years ago. I have always wanted to paint the scene and finally put the brush to paper. It was a challenge to portray the light of a rainy day and the reflections on wet cobblestones but I was really pleased with the outcome and it has become one of my favorites. Giclee’s on cotton rag paper are available. Please bubblemail or email me for details on purchasing a giclee. Email – mbaileyart@gmail.com / /
