So many bee’s and so many settings .. Thought i would try something new .. and go totally manual on the camera yes i did it :o) I normally use the AV setting and more often than not the flash for my macro’s and Tv for the birds but have since strayed to manual … what do you think ? Canon EOS 450D / Canon Macro EF 100mm Settings as follows.: Shutter Speed 1/1000 sec / Exposure Program Manual / F-Stop: f /2.8 / Aperture Value: f/2.8 / ISO Speed Rating 800 / Focal Length 100 mm / No Flash Raw to Jpeg only / no cropping or photoshop / All views,comments,critique and favourites appreciated /

I created this cyborg bee for my Eros project I remember at the time I was listening to Tori Amos’ Beekeeper album, it’s where I got the idea to depict Eros attacked by bees in the first place. Since then, it’s one of my favorite artworks I’ve ever done. It was created entirely in Photoshop, all textures and shadows included.
