Canyonlands NP Utah. Back from Moab and got my slides back. This is Mesa Arch which faces East and catches reflected light from below. i think my favorite part of this is the washboard lady. Can you see her. /

This is an image from a series I shot of one of my favortie models Jessamyn. I tend to shoot Jessamyn in different styles of modelling including fashion as we have become so used to working with each other, even though she lives on the other side of Australia from me. This is my personal favorite portrait shot of Jessamyn.

This intimate, bright yet dark, static yet flowing, autumn themed image was made in Baxter State Park, Maine, USA in October 2006. I like the contrast of the flowing water beneath the still branches, the pop of color from the remaining birch leaves, and the juxtaposition of the branch atop the stream in tone and color! /

‘Asia Series’ card by Karin Taylor A more serious piece this time. A painting inspired by the art form of the Geisha. Her discipline and strength I admire. I have used ink, acrylic, charcoal and pastels to create Geisha Girl. The original painting is no longer available, but so glad she can come to you in the form of a greeting card. This portrait of the lovely Halley Mallison was shot during the Witching Hour in an abandoned bandshell in downtown Decatur Georgia… / I used a texture layer of ivy to enhance the ethereal and otherworldly qualities of the photo and to give it a more painting-like feel
