  • “Winter Frost” Cold frosty morning on the mountain. / Arkansas, USA “As you walk along the trail in the midst of soft shadows in the morning light, breathing deeply the crisp cold air of autumn sweetness, you enter the clearing beyond the trees. A warm band of sunshine illuminates the field, and highlighting the golden and scarlet colours of autumn and setting the frost sparkling like diamonds in the sunlight” (Sharon Anne Mau, 2008). / 9 16 09 Placed 5th in challenge, What are you drawn too In LIVE, AND LET LIVE Canon PowerShot S3 IS 6 MPX /

  • “The Kiss“ It’s a message understood between friends, regardless of species. It says “Hello, I like you. Thank you for letting me be close enough to be your friend.” / Shasta is my sisters dog, and the deer’s name is Little Girl. We raised her free roaming, and she has now gone back to the wild. / Shasta, and Little Girl were the best of friends

  • AS IS Canon PowerShot S3 IS 6mp “Autumn Drive on the Pig Trail” U.S. Arkansas State Highway 23 S. Better known as the Pig Trail Bypass. I love to shoot fall colors right after the rain; the moisture saturates the colors, and makes them POP. /

  • Canon PowerShot S3 IS 6mp / AS IS straight from my camera to you :) I have always admired these types of tropical sunset, and this is my first ever to capture! This was a very long zoom for my tiny camera, but I am so happy how it turned out! Indian Shores, Florida / /

  • “Let Your Light Shine Down on Me” I caught these autumn sunbeams from the low setting sun, illuminating a dusty country road. I used a bit a of adjustment of the hue and saturation to bring out the light rays. Post Cards of this photo may be purchased @ a GREAT PRICE HERE ONLY .28 cents each!! • “Clouds on the Water, Fire Near the Sky” / Purchase a Mouse Pad of this image I happened onto this gorgeous sunrise over the White River at a time when the water was at its lowest. I was delighted to catch the calm surface for reflections, as the low rising sun was casting its first orange glow over the autumn colors.

  • ~ Morning Has Broken ~ Ah when it comes to photography, that first morning light is the tops!! I enjoy shooting the intense light, and darkness, and illuminating the colors with the back lighting of the morning sun. / This is one of my favorite spots to capture that type of light. • Emerald Paradise As Is… / Canon PowerShot S3 IS Rainbow Springs Florida’s third largest spring, Rainbow Springs pump 600 million gallons of water daily and serves as the head water to the pristine Rainbow River. The property was acquired by the State Park Service in 1990 and is slowly being allowed to revert to its natural state. / Beautiful floral gardens surround the spring, and the area is immensely popular in the spring when the azaleas are in bloom. The state also acquired Rainbow Springs State Campground, located nearby, which was formerly privately owned. From the campground, you can tube or canoe the crystalline waters of Rainbow River, or fish for large mouth bass and other freshwater species. / A nature trail provides a lovely walk past two waterfalls and the azalea gardens, and meanders along the Rainbow River. / /

  • ~ Rising Up ~ Its so refreshing to see the spring flowers after a long winter season, to watch the new colors rise to the calling of a new spring. / In my yard, Tulips bloom from late March through April, and / a few on into mid to late May . / Planting anywhere from 3 inches to 7inches deep, extends the blooming season considerably. I plant some a bit shallow, / for early blooms. Planting at different depths will insure there is a pretty patch gracing the landscape somewhere. As Is… / Canon PowerShot S3 IS If you would you like to ADD YOUR OWN WORDS to create a personal sentiment to this as a greeting card, please / “Contact Me, on Contact This Artist on my Store Front. / I will make it personal from YOU, to YOUR friends, and relatives. / Nothing like those first tulips in bloom, while the trees are still so bare. Spring is a nice change of perspective. /

  • Beauty Of A Thorn This well-known thistle is a true nightmare to all the local farmers. At one point I think there was even a law passed saying that people could be fined if it was found growing unchecked on their property. / It is such an invasive plant that it will take over an entire pasture or field, and farm animals won’t/can’t eat it, and it’s a real problem in the hay. / On the other hand, its a blessing for the many butterflies that migrate through this area, and it provides much-needed food and energy for the pretty little creatures that have such long flights ahead of them, or maybe are just at the end of their life spans. / I have also noticed that hummingbirds love it as well. Being a photographer, I do love its exotic blooms and the many photo opportunities it provides. / The sad but true thing is, the only way to control it is to destroy it completely! It’s amazing that something so beautiful and so useful for the nectar lovers, is also such a thorn in the side for the farmers. / Photo taken along a road side in NW Arkansas, USA. • ~ Historic War Eagle Mills ~ A fascinating and nostalgic historic site / nestled in the rolling Ozark hills of Northwest / Arkansas, War Eagle Mill is one of the most / picturesque places in the Natural State. I remember riding in the back of the truck, as my daddy took a load of corn to this mill to have it ground, and I remember all those hot pans of cornbread my momma used to cook with that huge pot of brown beans…...boy things have sure changed today!! / You can get a great bowl of beans while visiting this mill, they have a really great restaurant, but I have to say I do not think I have ever tasted a bean like my momma cooked. / BELOW PHOTOS CLICKABLE FOR YOU CONVENIENCE RIVER RAIN CLOUDS ON THE WATER, FIRE NEAR THE SKY TRANQUIL SERENITY GOLDEN DAZE

  • The maples in my yard were just on fire!! Shot this looking up, what an amazing sight! Autumn in the Ozark is such a spectacular sight, its eye candy wherever you look. I do enjoy trees, and I shoot them often, but during the autumn season they sure shine in all their glory. Fall 10 3 2005 Arkansas / AS IS: / hp 635 / F/5.8 / 1/245 sec. / ISO-100 /
