The sun is just rising on Snowmass ski area, 35 miles in the distance from Spring Creek Reservoir above El Jebel, CO. I like the contrast between that snow and the water w/the ducks, waiting for the morning sun to come over Basalt Mountain and warm them.

This is McMahon’s lookout out from Wentworth Falls in the Blue Mountains, NSW, Australia. Below is lake Burragorang where Sydney’s water is collected. This is a massive shot and probably won’t fit on your screen…. but would look fabulous across a wall.
This is the preparation area for the main kitchen which you can see is just in to the next room. As with laundry kitchens suffer badly from the peeling paint effect, as is shown here.

Pic 12 I was so concerned yesterday, when I spotted dad on the nest, with his wings slightly raised, and panting. I shot this one 11:20am, but first noticed him on the nest 10:15am, when he was panting… we are having a bit of a heat wave. Yesterday reached a high of 106º. Dad remained resting in the nest for about 1.5 hours… then he went back to his duties of feeding his kids. Whew, what a relief. I consulted with my friend, Bonnie Barry, who suggested giving fresh water often, in saucers, bird bath, etc. I have never seen the robins in my bird bath, so I hope they get their water source from somewhere!!!! I think they know I’m trying to help them and protect them. This shot is not focused… but it’s cute, cuz all the family is showing. I found this sign beside tis picnic area highly amusing, it was in fact in front of the cars in the car park, but looked as if it related to the bench. The bench we used for our picnic at Hardwick Hall in fact.

Since food products attract insects and other varments, and cooking generates heat, the main dwelling was not a desirable place for a kitchen. Initially, cooking would have been done outside under a shed separated from the house, fireplaces were common in North Florida, but the heat made them impractical further South Cracker House, located in Downtown Ft Myers Using photoscape to create the antique look gave this photo more of an older look to it
