These make up the barrier at the top of the Empire State Building. As everyone looks down, I looked up and saw this. The view of the city was almost as interesting.
Nightshot of the State Capitol building in Richmond, VA. I love the symmetry in architecture and the lone Christmas Tree.

Audley End House, originally a Benedictine monastery given by Henry VIII to Sir Thomas Audley in 1538, is one of England’s grandest country mansions with grounds landscaped into tranquil gardens by Capability Brown in the 18th Century. / Known as Station 43 during WWII, it was used by the SOE as a guerrilla training school for Polish agents due to be parachuted into occupied Europe. / In the summer it’s great for a picnic on the lawn and an exploration of the house. These photgraphs were taken during the reenactment of the California Gold Rush in Old Town Sacramento. Sitting ten feet up in the air, on the horse drawn wagon featured in January, I was able to get shots that gave me a whole new perspective of California history that has been lovingingly restored and acted out. Here you will see horse drawn wagons, gun battles, actors and you were experiencing a taste of the wild, wild west. Enjoy!
The old and the new! Old bridge is now closed and the new ultra modern bridge has taken over. / I was very excited when my mother and I rounded the ben, and I saw these two bridges! A friend on another website had posted pictures of the place already! I just hadn’t realised we were in the area! As soon as I got back home I emailed him! / Makes a great impact as a picture or you could do a grouping with my other shots of the bridges. Also does well in b/w

Underpass at I-95. Jacksonville, Florida, 2009. © 2009 J.J.Taylor, All Rights Reserved. While documenting a local March of Dimes walk in Jacksonville, Florida, I found this composition under I-95. It was interesting enough, but really needed a human element. Then, almost as if on cue, this shadowy figure of a guy comes walking down the street.

I went out and did some night shooting again last night. The building I really wanted to photograph was not lit up, so I was not able to shoot it. I found another building to shoot and then returned to the Utah State Capital building to photograph the westside. As I surveyed what I might photograph I came across this scene. What appealed to me were the patio banisters and the building angels with the rotunda in the background. This is one my most favorite photographs thus far of the Capital building. I was very excited when it turned out the way I had seen it. Camera: Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT / Exposure: 15 / Aperture: f/22.0 / Focal Length: 55 mm / ISO Speed: 200
I have a few pics from NYC I wanted to post, we went there for Xmas and had a wonderful time. There was so much to see and do, I had forgotten since I lived there for a while. Well here’s a bridge a got a few snaps of, all the pics taken were from the car, we were just trying to find the Toys R Us Super Store. I don’t quite remember the expressway we were on, I know that we kept missing sixth ave and we went around at least 6 times, NY if you don’t live there is very confusing. Keep in mind that these pics were taken from a car going around 35 mph. The title reminded me of the Billy Joel song, I’m in a New York State of Mind. Taken with a Canon 50D Lense 70-200mm IS USM
