The corrugated iron roof is an Australian icon. This one used to exist in Sydney, and the patterns and coulours were accentuated by the post-storm light.

This is the roof of the Duomo in Milan. It was taken on 1 August 2006, the first full day when I was backpacking in Italy. I like the sky in this. It is really moody and I think it reflects the gothic architecture, so indicative of Milan.

This architect named Gaudi built many buildings in Barcelona. He never used straight lines because his work was based on nature, and there’s aren’t any straight lines there. Anyways he also used colors differently. His work always looks fun, I like it. This is just the top of one house he designed.
I took this picture of a door on the porch of an empty old house. I then used Corel Painter Essentials 4 to make it look like an impressionist painting.
