  • A black & white representation of the Taj Mahal in Agra, India.

  • Landscape of the Lord St. Malo outside of Estes Park, Colorado. One of thee most photographed Churches in all of North America, I was VERY excited and VERY anxious to get this shot when I headed up to Rocky Mountain National Park. I was hoping that the weather would clear because behind this, covered in the clouds, is Mt. Meeker and it is just a stunning view with the mountains! I have to admit though, I am really happy how this came out. And if anything, it is quite unique compared to how it is usually shot. I suppose that is a good thing when it comes to photographing something that is such an icon. Generally, people walk down by the pond and shoot from there, I stayed up top on the side of the road, thus giving a different perspective than most. Also, the weather. It was dramatic as all heck! You could smell the rain as it came in, dark, but with so much drama in the sky. I was pretty lucky to get a shot like this. Ya, I am happy with it! • Sunrise over Signal Hill, Newfoundland. The first spot in Canada to see the beautiful morning dawn. / / Visit my website On The Rock Photography / /

  • I liked the way the clouds reflected onto the mirror facade of this tall tower building. The blues set it off for me – really like these shades of blue and the softness of the fluffy white clouds gave it an almost surreal feeling for me. / This was taken in St Julian’s, Portomaso – Malta Oct 2007.

  • Rising between the picturesque waters of Lake Monona and Lake Mendota, the majestic granite structure of the Madison State Capitol building in Wisconsin, glows like a beacon, accenting the Madison skyline. This is an HDR image, actually a re-work since the original was the first HDR image I ever created. I have learned a few things since then, hope you like it. Here is an image of the interior which is simply stunning: / My art with 1000+ views

  • Queens Parade, South Melbourne

  • One of the many peaks in Frank Gehry’s Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, California. That day the clouds seem to reach down and touch it. /

  • The Fox Theater in Atlanta Georgia, There used to be a Fox in just about every major city. / This one was fully restored and in 1989 they celebrated the 60 th anniversary of \”Gone With The Wind\” with a black tie event and commissioned special posters of \”the Fox Theater\” commemorating the event! Ted Turner was there along with 7 of the original cast of the movie and many elite, I was there in black tie signing prints, a great event and a great painting! / The original 36×48 oil painting sold for $10,000.00.

  • This was a sign on a building across the road from Graceland, It was hardly noticeable during the day and seemed small and insignificant, But I thought I could do something special with it and it turned out great. / This is a 36×48 oil on canvas. the original sold 10 years ago for about $10,000

  • Something a little different from me here. A3 shot HDR of the old Convent, Penola Road Mt Gambier this afternoon with powerful stormy clouds in the background. When processing this the effects were quite different than my normal HDR’s but I liked the outcome even though it is almost comic book style. Thought I’d throw it up here for comment both good and bad to see what others think. Not something I’d like to do often but the different style interested me. Canon 400D – 18- 55 lens at 22 CIR polarising filter, processed in Photomatix.

  • STREETS OF LONDON /

  • Cloudy sky over Toulon in Provence. HDR from 3 exposures and very soft tonemapping, done with Photomatix. Can be seen here at a very better size. You can read here my tips for hdr landscapes. .

  • Herringfleet Mill can be found where you might least expect to find it – about twenty yards on the Suffolk side of the Norfolk/Suffolk border. Given Norfolk’s monopoly on spectacular, well-preserved mills, it seems only fair that neighbouring Suffolk should have a few of its own…although it should be noted that even this mill is officially in the Norfolk Broads. This photograph was taken on an extremely February day. A 13 seconds’ exposure captured the movement of the clouds as they raced across the East Anglian sky. Canon EOS 5D and EF 16-35mm lens. Exposure of 13 seconds at f/22.
