  • Mono photie of an architectual feature of some of the best buildings in our area.

  • Taken in Melbourne’s CBD in Australia, what is normally a very busy area as office working sit in these chairs scoffing foccacias and reading the paper on their lunch break, this image was taken after the morning rush as the chairs a left in an organic swivelled pattern by workers who have rushed back to their desks. They sit unoccupied waiting for the next rush of corporate suited bodies.

The famous Celcus Library, at Ephesus, Turkey, was built in A.D. 135 by Julius Aquila in memory of his father, Celsus Polemaeanus of Sardis, Roman Senator and Proconsul of the province of Asia. As I just wrote to Bela, “I wish I could take artistic credit for the perspective on this shot, but truth to tell, I was in the midst of a mass of people so dense if one person sneezed, we’d have all gone over like dominoes!!!! I was desperate to “capture” the magnificence of this structure, so UP was the only way to shoot!!!” Photo taken July 31, 2005 with the Olympus C-5000 zoom.

  • This is the 6th in a New Series called Harmony Park. / . / Harmony Park is a Public Park in the City of Moreland where I work. / Located in Gaffney Street, just east of Sussex Street in Coburg, it was originally my old school, Coburg Technical College. / But it was closed down by Jeff Kennet, the Victorian Premier at the time, and is now a beautifully developed Public Arena. / It was developed and is maintained by the Council, and has some of the best things to photograph in the area that I have seen for quite a while, including architecture, design, landscaping, as well as having one of the best Skateboard Parks in the Northern Suburbs. / I hope you enjoy my images in this series. / . / This is looking up from the centre of the outdoor eating area.   • A green wall with a white electric meter. I replaced this after some people kindly pointed out the pink glow to the electric box, I worked with the exposure and got it to be the white it should be, still over exposed I think but I just wasn’t happy with the pink glow.
