HELP!! I have been sitting on this image for a while trying to figure out a name for it and well… I am just drawing a blank. So I thought I would throw it out there to you all to see if you wouldnt mind helping a girl out? All suggestions for a title gratefully accepted =)) *Background info – this is a conservatory near Paramatta Creek in Tasmania, hidden away off the road in the most unlikely of places. UPDATE!!* As you may notice, this piece is no longer “untitled” A journal entry of thanks has been posted.
This is the ceiling of the entrance to a subway station in the West Village of NYC with B&W film. It was taken circa 1987.
...or maybe not, I’ll let you decide

Storm signals off the coast of Venice as I travel to my hotel in a water taxi and view one of the most memorable events of my trip white light coming through a wall of gray clouds creating a visual effect on a small island off of Venice.
Looking west on a winter morning on Archer Road in Willow Springs, Illinois. My favorite road in Illinois.
A small laneway in Venice, Italy, one rainy morning. Thanks to Janys Hyde / for the description of the location of this shot: / the bridge just visible on the right which leads into the square of S.S. Apostoli one of the squares en route along the Lista di Spagna, a main thoroughfare between the railway station and the Rialto Bridge. 2008 This photograph in the The Top Ten of the Black and White Photography group Street challenge Featured on the home page, 24 Sept 2008. Shot in the modern part of Paris, a close-up of La Grande Arche de la Defense.
Construction began on January 3, 1870. The Brooklyn Bridge was completed thirteen years later and was opened for use on May 24, 1883. On that first day, a total of 1,800 vehicles and 150,300 people crossed what was then the only land passage between Manhattan and Long Island. The bridge’s main span over the East River is 1,595 feet 6 inches (486.3 m). The bridge cost $15.5 million to build and approximately 27 people died during its construction. We loved the early morning walk across from Brooklyn to Manhattan as the sun was shining on a gorgeous December Morning. The inspirational stories of human endeavor and loss of life in building this magnificent structure are something else. As you walk across, to your left the Statue of Liberty, the gateway to America, to your right, The Empire State Building, a 1930s construction that is now the tallest building in New York. Also to the right the Chrysler Building, same period as the Empire State and probably the most ornate skyscrapper in the city. As you near Manahattan the financial district looms up on the left bank and memories of the Twin Towers halt you in your tracks as you gaze in wonder at the space they have left.
In 2003 my wife, her sister, her friend and I flew to Paris. I was so excited because I had gotten a small taste of France in the ‘70s when I was stationed in Germany and had been dieing to get back. Visually a photographer’s dream shoot location. We were lost as soon as we stepped off the plane. My wife claimed she took 4 semesters of French and passed, yet when spoked to in French and I looked at her she would shrug her shoulders. So none of us spoke French. But we managed. We walked 90% of the time and I carried a back pack with a Nikon N-90s, Nikon 8008s, 20,35,50,135,180, and 500 MM lenses, tons of film, flash, tripod and my trusty Holga. (By the way, I was out of work 4 weeks recovering from a neck injury from carrying this backpack.) I had semi-planned ahead, knowing we were going to walk, for the series “A Walk Through Paris”. As we walked, I shot, crossed items off my list and we walked some more. This series was shot with a Holga camera, held together with a lot of black tape. Processed, scanned and then tinted with my custom sepia like action in Adobe Photoshop.
As soon as I saw this, I thought B&W. The covered path at Anthony House, near Torpoint, Cornwall. Thank you for looking. / Hope you like it.
A wave crashes the London Arch, on the Great Ocean Road, Victoria, Australia, at sunrise. This was taken at the end of autumn on a very cloudy morning. I used a Canon DSLR EOS 350D camera, 18-55mm lens and a tripod. I sold a large framed print (walnut and on red bubble) to my kind sister, Nadia, that she bought as a house warming and birthday present for a lucky friend. Thanks so much Nadia.
