This shot is one part of my previous panorama but I find that this particular crop which is about 2 shots of the total 5 just does something for me..It also shows how much detail is in these pano’s and the potential for an ultra large print which I must do one day. / Thanks once again for looking and recent comments….cheers, Rob.

The warm light of a Cold November Dawn illuminates the sandstone of Canyonlands National Park and Mesa Arch with the La Sal Mountains hiding in the distance.

Quite excited about the potential of this one…I’ve only just processed this shot, but during this evening a few days ago, I took a heap of pano’s from this area when the light just got better and better…I’ve also got a shot from this spot taken during a blue sky day…back in my pf somewhere, but it doesn’t compare to this one..imo..anyway, I’ll be busy stitching for quite some time now…..cheers, Rob.

Mesa Arch, Canyonlands National Park – Utah. / Exposure. In hopes to explain the title of the image, Abearance is defined as behavior. Take a look at this image by a great photographer named Steve Taylor and you will understand: / http://www.redbubble.com/people/stevetaylor/art/975986-1-mesa-madness My it seems we have developed a rather abusive love hate relationship with this particular natural area. Just remember to be careful out there people, a lot of us put a desperate kind of love into natural world, please help to preserve it. From the sketchpad. For some time now ive been interested in how everything seemingly ‘unnatural’ grew from the natural. A majority of my work is now based on this idea.

HELP!! I have been sitting on this image for a while trying to figure out a name for it and well… I am just drawing a blank. So I thought I would throw it out there to you all to see if you wouldnt mind helping a girl out? All suggestions for a title gratefully accepted =)) *Background info – this is a conservatory near Paramatta Creek in Tasmania, hidden away off the road in the most unlikely of places. UPDATE!!* As you may notice, this piece is no longer “untitled” A journal entry of thanks has been posted.

The symbolism of this image is deep. Man against nature, his arrogance even when dwarfed by the age and strength of nature. / This was taken in Arches National Park at Delicate Arch in the Fall of 2005. There are many photographs of Delicate Arch and I didn’t want to duplicate what had already been done. With a man dressed in a black suit, he appears in a unique vision of the famed Delicate Arch stepping out from another time and place.

A ponderous moment.

I met a fellow RedBubbler, Adam Mattel yesterday and we did a photo shoot together. It was a very enjoyable morning and a pleasure to meet a member that lives nearby. This is one the images captured along the Susquehanna river at Harrisburg, PA. This site was settled due to the founder Harris operating a ferry across the river.

La Rue Obscure is the oldest street in the old town of Villefranche sur Mer on the French Riviera, between Nice and Monaco. It was built on virgin soil at the beginning of the 13th century. La Rue Obscure formed the basis of the rest of the town’s construction on the slopes rising from this coastal lane. It gave inhabitants of the town certain refuge against possible attacks. The ship captains who were forced by storms to anchor in the bay, could make necessary repairs in safety. La Rue Obscure also welcomed precious merchandise, such as wine, in its cellars.

Spires in Arches National Park – Utah USA tour 2008 Please view large This area preserves over 2,000 natural sandstone arches as well as many other unusual rock formations. In some areas, the forces of nature have exposed millions of years of geologic history. The extraordinary features of the park create a landscape of contrasting colors, landforms and textures that is unlike any other in the world. / I took this shot after a fall down a hill, my wide angle lens took the brunt but survived thankfully although the polarizer was a little worse for wear. Limping, bleeding and rather scarred I throughly enjoyed my hike around this area. Moral of the story look before you shoot !!! Hope you enjoy the view :) WARNING / ©2008 Globalphotos All rights reserved. / All photographs, text and images by Globalphotos are the exclusive property of Globalphotos – protected under Australian and international copyright laws. / These images may not be reproduced, copied or manipulated without written permission. / No use for Public Domain. / Use of any image for another photographic concept or illustration is a violation of copyright.
