I’m always in awe of the reflective qualities of water and light. The colors blend so superbly that the imitation of such has intreged artists for centuries and inspired some of the greatest art. This abstraction is from such a day when the light and the water danced with ripples of refracted colors.. Who could resist…

I have never been an insect fan, but I must admit I had quite a pleasure shooting some this summer. I am still learning a lot so no, it is not perfect. / I like this one enough so just sharing to get c&c…. hope to improve next year ^^ / thank you

Inspired by ‘Flammes à Lunettes’ by Dionysos/Olivia Ruiz, and the fact that the village I live in is well know for it’s apple orchards.(that’s my cat Poose hiding in the tree) / The text is a page from ‘Candide’ by Voltaire. I intend to make the illustration into bookmarks.
