This is the result after I have changed the painting ‘Save me the last dance’ I felt the central figure was not right. / After a lot of research I eventually found the figure I thought was right to complement the othe two figures. / Anyone who has seen the movie ‘300’ there is a dream sequence and will reconise where I got my image from. / The canvas measures 1500×1000mm and is painted in acrylics, I also used an airbrush to soften the flow of fabrics / I have left both samples on my pages so that one can compare the changes, and I hope my changes are sucsesfull. / Let me know what you think!

ORIGINAL FOR SALE $1399 plus P&H Pen and Ink on smooth surfaced paper. Can’t remember what type – walked into the artshop and ran my fingers over the surface until I found one I liked, with the gsm to match. The picture won the Jean Eales Memorial Prize, three firsts in various divisions and best in show. The four alpacas are from my friends farm and are as individualistic as the picture portrays. The big black one at the front, Zack, has covered me with green slime on more than one occasion! Out of ashes, new beginnings, / Out of fire comes new power, / Out of darkness, new day dawning, / Phoenix, help me in this trying hour. DJ Conway The Phoenix is the most famous of all rebirth symbols, a legendary bird that endlessly renews itself in fire. / Initially a symbol of the cyclic disappearance and reappearance of the Sun, the Phoenix soon became an emblem of human resurrection – and eventually of the indomitable human spirit in overcoming trials. My deepest hopes, since the onsets of Black Saturday and the devastation and sorrow felt across the lands of Australia, as well as here on redbubble with the outpourings of love, compassion and strength in thoughts and prayers is that it reaches and touches all who have lost someone, something or some part of their heart to this great fire – find the inner strength and wisdom, and most certainly feel the generosity and outpouring from so many human beings around the globe. / The empathy and compassion felt around the world is ironically, a gathering of souls in Unity – it saddens me that it takes a tragedy of this proportion to focus, it also fills me with joy that it is still possible… May we continue in the light of love and unify for the benefit of all humankind – as Love can move mountains All sales of this piece will be donated to Victorian Bushfire Appeal 2009 / This was an intention drawing while focusing on the victims of the Victorian Bushfires, photographed, colored in photoshop and Redfield plug-ins editing.

The firefighters are one example of some of the true heros when it comes to bushfires. 12 February 2009 ~ Snapper Rocks ~ SE QLD ~ Just after sunrise It seems as though mother nature has unleashed her fury over the past couple of weeks with floods in Northern Queensland, fires in Victoria and horrific tornados in the US… One could be forgiven for wondering what is going on… This is what gets me up every morning, no matter what happens, the sun will rise, time marches on and there is beauty in the world… Our thoughts are with all the people affected by the events of the past few weeks and All proceeds from any sales of this image will be donated to assist the Victorian Bushfire Appeal…
