Another shot in this lovely abandoned house. I’m slowing getting them posted. Eventually I’ll get the image of the outside of it up…maybe :) I have a few, just have to finish editing and decide what ones make the cut, or at least get to test the waters. I was having trouble naming this one. As I was staring at the drywall patchwork that was started, I was thinking about how once upon a time someone started renovating the house, but didn’t finish. Makes me wonder why? So…even though there was no storybook ending to this house (at least not yet) I’m imagine it had a storybook beginning. This is one of my silver award winning prints from the 07 AIPP State awards. / I spent the week up in Surfer’s on the Gold coast – Hence no updates or nice comments for people. This is just one of the hundreds of photos i came up with – a simple pan of some of the hi-rise apartments. / The big pointy bugger is the Q1 building – the tallest residential building in the world.

I got a little dizzy trying to keep the camera still trying to capture the sway of these buildings. The wind was so strong….. Actually, a little fun in photoshop gave these Melbourne apartments some extra dimensions, no wind! But i guess you figured this out. M:> / Shot February 2008
